Yes, yes, go ahead and post the Robot Chicken sketch. We've all seen it.
Actually unfamiliar with the sketch. Or whatever particular one you're referring to at least.

But as for the analogy, obviously there was war in both trilogies. But again, the story of the Empire's fall/transformation has been told already. Even if a new story was created, I'm going to assume the end result is the same. I'd like for a new type of movie to be tried, if it has to be made. For better or worse, the 2009 Star Trek film managed to be succesful while being "un-Trekky" IMO (complicated relationship there). Maybe Disney could employ a similar philosophy.

Didn't it take years for the new order to be established in the core worlds?
Underworld is set to cover that time period.

Then let me do the honors:

Thematically, I guess you have a point, even if I do love me some Thrawn Trilogy. Not even sure how they would bring the old characters back to life without some fancy CGI. Or make the whole thing crappy CGI, like that Clone Wars movie. : D

From what I understand of his role in the original trilogy and the prequels, he does his best work when he comes up with ideas and other people tell him what works.
I was just about to say this.

    Rest In Peace, Old Friend.

I would simply like to say that

    .... I don't hate it.
    Aaand sold.

Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?

The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.

I'd say that the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are as violent as the Star Wars movies (which is not much btw) so I wouldn't worry about them censoring anything.

And anyways, remember that Disney made a kid cartoon with a plot revolving around a guy wanting to murder a women because he can't control his sexual attraction over her.
