LMAO so fucking true. At this point though we pretty much know everything we need to know before beta. Only thing they can tell us right now is how they are working with the zerg.

Glad we finally got an answer about being able to cast location based spells on the mini map. Still wish they would change Proton Charge despite this convenience. Otherwise Protoss players can look forward to hotkeying their collection of Obelisks next to their Nexuses and periodically casting the spell in EVERY GAME THROUGHOUT THEIR ENTIRE CAREER.

Training peons has become an expected aspect of RTS games and somehow doesn't seem as bothersome. Probably because it's only really necessary at the beginning of a game or during occasional expansions.

Proton Charge, on the other hand, is a superficial element that is not integral to the formula for an RTS games which will need to be cast regularly on a timer. This will only become a chore after extended play.

They're completely different, and you will not convince me otherwise. Mandatory repetition is the worst thing you can enforce in any game.

It wont be mandatory unless it makes you win most of the time. Everything in any RTS is mandatory if you want to win, you must carry out specific actions every game, countless times. If you want to just have fun, then you can do whatever you want and ignore proton charge if you like. You can't have your cake and eat it too... you cant want to win, and not expect to have to repeat things that work toward that goal.

However, they need an alternative ability to proton charge. Having only proton charge is a problem. I'd like to see an ability that will speed up the warp-in time of buildings as an alternative.

You only make workers at the beginning and when expanding? Your supposed (ie mandatory) to do it all game every 30 seconds, just like casting PC.

Bullshit. Once you're low on supply/near supply cap, and have all your bases saturated, you stop building workers. And unless you're being raided and they're dying, you could go several minutes without building more. The only race who should consistently pump out workers all game is Zerg, because they turn them into buildings, thus freeing supply.

Or for the love of Raynor, don't even think of mentioning TL's position on it like you do every time you post. They have nothing to say I could ever give a shit about.

To be clear Demo, when do you usually stop making workers? Around what minute in an average game?

Its entirely variable, and you know that. Building workers is not on a set 30 second clock like PC, and you also know that.

    Give us an estamate

Do you stop building before 5 minutes, before 10 minutes, before 15 minutes, before 20 minutes or before 25 minutes?
