Wanna experience the childhood of a French-Canadian kid born between 1975 and 1990? See below:

As for recent stuff, I haven't been watching much anime but I like those ending songs (even though we're talking about openings...):

Gundam seed had some good music too.

Gay porn from PornHub would be less damaging to Canadian youth than that filth.

It's a comedy about an arranged marriage that involves not a love triangle but a love dodecahedron and crazy curses. Its basically an anime sitcom leaned towards children. For example, the main character is trying to be groomed to be "a man amongst men," and so has spent his whole life training in martial arts with his father living as nomads. A trip to cursed springs in Jusenkyo causes both him and his father to be cursed to transform when splashed with cold water. His father becomes a panda, and he becomes a girl version of himself (the pigtailed boy and the pigtailed girl) Hot water reverses it and on the whole, the curse causes hijinks due to the seppuku (ritual suicide if he fails to become a man amongst men, and since he can turn into a girl....) contract with his mother, the multiple engagements he had, and what not, and he constantly tries to find a cure, but fails. The anime itself doesn't progress too much in the story arch, which is where the manga comes in, but I do find it funny.

After watching Evangelion, you need something light hearted afterwards, because End of Evangelion is really dark and depressing. Ranma is a polar opposite in terms of attitude.

Burn the witch this, burn the witch that. When will you learn that we've got to stop burning witches, and instead focus on scourging heretics?

FYI, no shit. 'the Gradius Gundam' is what I always call that 'thing' whenever I see it given that I've never seen a Gundam episode
