Nothing against anime, just these particular shots. Like the animation themselves, but their handing of the subject matter...ugh.![]()

I can understand the Doctor Who one. The main problem being the companion. The rest of it is fine for me. The 3rd Doctor was a martial art expert, I'm pretty sure he and the Master have had a sword fight somewhere, and the Cybermen are just done excellent. I love the throwbacks to Old Who, like old UNIT, Daleks that weren't relatively unstoppable death machines, and Sontarans without the stupid purple get-up.
As for the Star Wars one, what's the problem there if you don't mind me asking?

I think the Captain is over the top, yeah. But I like how Imperial pilots are humanized. The helmet-fade thing is a little trite, but I think it's effective.Anyhow, cut out about five seconds of footage, and it would be amazing. Namely, the pilots sans helmets and the captain's dramatic poses.
Aaand sold.
Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow
Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?
The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.

Heh, I remember finding the Doctor Who one last year.
