I think you mean from the book, and yes. She supposedly killed everyone at Bhekar Rho in the DC comic.

Ghosts are trained from infancy. I know nothing of this book because I don't read such things, but from what I can garner, this character you're thinking of wasn't trained from infancy. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I actually laughed really hard when I reached that part of the comics. It knew I was not alone and recovered some hope in Blizz.

You are right, aside from some cases, ghosts are "hunted" while they are just children. Nova, Aal Cistler and Tosh are some of the known exceptions. They, still, got into the academy at a really young age. Octavia was 17 during SotXN. Dominion forces could have abducted her with not much of a problem.

In theory, but there's plenty of late bloomers. Nova and Kath got late training for instance, because at least in the former's case, her Old Family status protected her. Octavia escaped because Bhekar Ro was an independent planet. Others like John Raynor and Kerrigan got conscripted early in their lives.

Yes there is. She's a Mary Sue. She's written like Nova, only Nova has actual plot relevance. Octavia would learn how to be a ghost in a year or two, and probably resisted much of the memory wipe too.

So, we have a reaction from other Starcraft writers on how they thought about the people of Bhekar Rho.
People on Bhekar Rho are apparently quite attractive looking. I'm... I'm not surprised.

That sorta tells me that the universe is free reign to do whatever, but then a bunch of characters you write will get killed off.

I think more americanized starcraft comics need to be released. The manga ones are always too polite. :P

There was a sexy image of that ghost, in the comic where the same ghost is killed.
