Maybe just $50 if I can. I don't really have much in the bank in the moment that can be used on games. HotS Collector's edition comes first though.

Well, they are planning on space orbitals, and other such things. I think they might could try something like that, though I'm unsure.

Of course, I like the idea of simply putting engines on a planet and flying it into the sun with my enemy while I retreat. Brings a whole new dynamic to super weapons.

I read about this game a few weeks ago. I think it was an article and a thread on a forum. I don't really know what to say though beyond "It looks interesting so I'll probably keep an eye on it". >.<

It's a much bigger deal on Spacebattles. Mainly due to the scale and KKVs. More TA and SupCom fans over there anyways.

Yes. There going to release it in the summer of 2013. Supporting it early just ensures a copy later for a cheaper cost.
