    Hmm...That brings a new meaning to "Immortal Forge". (When I first read it, I had thought it was the place where Protoss Immortals were created, then noticed the tileset pieces (terrain and doodads) are all Terran...And that it's a Xel'Naga lab apparently.) Because even Xel'Naga are supposed to die with age, thus why the whole cycle takes place. Perhaps that is what Narud/Duran has broken and what many are trying to break.

    Kudos to Arkceangel for the Terran avatar and sig!

    Yes..it is a perversion of the cycle because it...is attempting to end it.

    From what we know, the Zerg biologically do not age or die from aging. Yet if combined with the Protoss, the being brought forth, a Xel'naga will eventually die.

    Is this due to biological aging or some psionic degradation?

    The only thing right now in Starcraft that ages, but not biologically, is an Archon.

    Perhaps the Xel'naga are a more advanced form of Archon in the sense of combining two psionic entities, and thus eventually they "burn" out. The Fallen One is perhaps attempting a solution for this.

    Whatever solution this is though, it has made him an outcast to the Xel'naga at the whole. Hence, "Fallen One." He had to be somewhere first before he could fall, maybe someone revered in one of the cycles. Something must go wrong with his immortal version however, a cost that must be paid.

    Perhaps the way that Hybrids "feed" on Protoss and Zerg. Using there energy to prolong their own. This would explain the Phoenix Creature as well. A test to see if a creature like that could be artificially made. A Hybrid Prototype.

    Well, it's some theorycrafting anyways.

    Hmm...That's actually interesting! It makes sense, since we see the Dark Voice devours a star at the end...Perhaps he feeds on it, just as how Ulrezaj feeds on others to sustain himself in the Dark Templar Saga...And considering that there is a Xel'Naga device that allows him to do just that.

    Was that a Star in the last vision in the Ihan Crystal?

    Anyway, I really hope they do something similar to that.

    It seemed so. And there was also another such vision when Zeratul meets the Preservers and they say "It ends in utter darkness", you see everything go dark and what appears to be a star disappear far away, turning everything dark and obscuring the planets that are seen in the vision, whereas in the last vision, it simply shows a star going dark from afar (no planets), and very clearly at that, too.

    If this is the case, then the plot would be pretty similar to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and it would also be pretty unoriginal, if you ask me. Though I do expect it to turn out this way, knowing Blizzard.

    I'm also pretty disappointed how they've included all the SC1 Zerg models and so many new Terran stuff (more than they have added Zerg models, which says something!) and yet Protoss get almost nothing...

    Well, Revenge of the Fallen was a terrible movie that had Transformers using a device to gather energy for a war effort or for other concerns. Having the star being snuffed out for energy isn't necessarily unoriginal. It would be like saying that any blow up the planets weapons were unoriginal due to the Death Star or old Flash Gordan episodes.

    The Hybrids doing this could simply be washing away the old before recreating it in the fallen one's image. Like the Dakara device in Stargate for Anubis. Also, it matters if this will be done on a galactic scale. We don't really know exactly what his plan is for after the defeat of all the major races.

    Anyways, indeed, we Protoss fans have to wait the longest, which kinda sucks...And I bet they will only have 15 or so missions in LotV and 1 new unit and upgrade per race, so LotV will be the least interesting expansion. :/

    Sure. They still have to wedge in Tassadar, the true Xel'naga plan, and Kerrigan's Zerg's future.

    Keep in mind that such units would be confined to the campaign, and so far the protoss haven't appeared that much. It was the same for the zerg-we didn't get all these evolutions in WoL because we weren't playing as them. For the terrans, we got extra units from the start. I'm sure with LotV, we'll get plenty of extra stuff, especially since various protoss factions are set to feature (seperate units would add to gameplay diversity).

    Come on, you're protoss. You're long-lived. You're meant to be patient.

    Seriously though, multiplayer-wise, it's been stated that it's unlikely there'll be many, if any new units and if they are, they might switch them around (akin to the tempest replacing the carrier). Singleplayer-wise though, I think we can expect quite a bit.

    I understate that because Dark of the Moon was a large revolting piece of garbage, an abomination perpetuating itself painfully in the eyes of those who watched, stabbing and ripping the hearts of those who called themselves Transformer fans, the piece of living vomit and digested hate booming with laughter at out misfortune.

    I could go on, but do I need to tell of my disappointment to my fullest voice?

    Revenge of the Fallen was terrible. Dark of the Moon was ungodly, even worse.
