lol Gradius, I know, I share your disbelief. It's mind boggling.I can't believe so many people like city tileset.

I can! Warcraft III had great city tilesets. It lets you talk to NPCs and civilians on the map.
C&C 3 had some beautiful tilesets, but you couldn't interact with the civilians or vehicles. (You couldn't even click on them!)
StarCraft II should have good city tilesets. There's great adventures you could pull off in them, like blowing up Augustgrad's monorail system.

The zealots have to have some kind of space suit considering inhalation of creep gives an very high chance of insanity and possesion by swarm, as evident by that short story about protoss studying creep (and one of them going insane)

Im not saying the the space platforms don't have artificial gravity and atmosphere, but I would bet that every single unit in the game would be able to fight without oxygen, without pressure, for some period of time.

Dsquid is actually just being a n00b and basing his assumptions off gameplay.
"Look at the tileset and the maps, they all have Terran stores and stuff all over the place!!111"
If the Terrans are capable of mining operations in the vacuum of space (which they are) why would they terraform an asteroid? To invite the Protoss and Zerg? "Here, have some oxygen so you can fight us."

Or I could be quoting lore. Which I am. Space Platforms are built on asteroids because its cheaper to mine the resources from the asteroid as you excavate into it and use those resources to build the platform, instead of bringing in material from a planet. Space Platforms have artificial gravity, and many have artificial atmospheres. If you want another source, ask Gradius.

So are you saying that they Terraform the ENTIRE asteroid? Even the parts that look void of any technology at all?
If that were the case, why wouldn't they just create a base of operations and keep the rest of the asteroid void? That would easily prevent enemies who you suggest can't survive in the vacuum of space from landing on any part of the asteroid and attacking from anywhere.

I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. They dig into the asteroids. They turn these into tunnels for vehicles and pedestrians, with room for shops and warehouses and factories. They use the excavated material to build the platform parts outside the asteroid. These have artificial gravity and atmosphere. Its not that hard to understand.
You have to remember that these space platforms are not normally intended for warfare. They are Starship ports. They are private-company-owned mining operations. Only a few, in orbit around key planets, are used for military purposes, and they are, again, Starship ports for the fleet.

You do know that Zerg can survive in the vacuum of space and that Protoss power armor allows Zealots to survive in the vacuum of space.
