Yes. IIRC, the Period they need to sleep is shorter than that of a humans.

I don't think you can apply the same photo synthesis logic to Protoss. I mean why aren't solar panels green? They're dark bluish.

Plant's absorb light different from the way Solar Panels absorb light.

It doesnt have to be any specific wavelength that is absorbed although the energy is defined by E=hv.

This is a good article explaining a theory on why most modern plants absorb weak red/blue light as opposed to other spectra of light. Apparently, chlorophyll containing plants actually take a weaker form of energy. It puzzles scientists on why more complex organisms use blue/red instead of green. But it could just be the role of the evolutionary dice, much like how successful arthopods got overtaken by reptiles, and the reptiles themselves getting overtaken by mammals.

Protoss, being blue to dark purple, probably take the more energy efficient green, violet, etc. And they also apparently outbeat their red/green taking cousins.

Its also doesnt have to be visible light that they absorb (unless metzen specified).

back to the question at hand: i like the City tileset, I think there could be some cool missions. however my real vote goes to one we haven't seen - Ruined planet. of course i'm talking about Aiur. maybe that's jungle + city or something, but i can't wait to see it.
You represent what is greatest in us all, and all our hopes go with you. EN TARO ADUN, brave Sons of Aiur!

There's a ruined jungle tileset, a junk planet tileset, and a shattered city tileset.

It's really hard to decide which is my favourite underneath Space Platform, because they all look amazing to me.

But yeah, if I were to rank from least favourite, it'd start probably frm city. From that preview we saw of Junk, it looks pretty sweet. Jungle is also so much more lush and nice than in SC1.
