    You mean 70 right..

70 damage to armored and 35 damage to light armored units I believe. Now it seems that its 60 damage to all, and 70 damage to armored, which is a slight upgrade from SC.

Odd, but I just tested this, and the tank does 52 damage on the vulture having no armor... hmm..

    Edit -

I thought they removed the 2 vespene geysers at each base.. They added it back because of the difficulty getting gas?

Well if that's possible they could blink in fron of the tanks.

I dunno the tech tree but maybe going for phoenix wasn't the best idea if they needed tech change for it.

    Yeah I meant 70, I always think it's 75 for some reason.

In any case, does having a slight damage buff and +1 range warrant the 3 food and relatively expensive cost of the siege tank?

I dont know.. From what I've seen, I dont think so, but thats from someone who hasnt yet played the game.

Honestly, I think a cost and supply increase is too much, one of those seem like it would work fine. I guess maybe the idea is to make you do something other than mass tanks?

Tanks are more expensive so they become what they were always meant to be: support units. In SC1 they were the central unit in every single Terran strategy. Blizzard wanted to change that, and I support it 100%.

    Thanks Mr. Obvious.

I'm wondering how useful of a support unit it will be if it's only slightly stronger than the SC1 tank, and also seeing as how most units have gotten HP buffs in SC2 and there are a multitude of new tank units, speed bonuses and mobility.

Just putting this out there: they seemed pretty effective in the video.

Ummm considering it states that the "video archive" section has been updated and has RTS games uploaded to it, which it does not, and considering SC2 is a category in the video archives section (http://www.blizzard.com/blizzcon/video/archive.xml - as shown here), then I believe we will be seeing something and that this information (i.e. them saying the video archive has been updated) is misleading.

That was my only point, and I was hoping someone would confirm that this information is presented incorrectly to all WC3 battlenet users, or that my browser is not working correctly and the page has been updated

I really wish they would go ahead and upload those replays. It's been a month FFS.

Worrrrrd. Does anyone know how long it took them to update the video archive page after Blizzcon 08? I thought it was only like a week or two
