I can definitely relate about Steven Wilson. I wouldn't call him my idol, that honor would go to Nobuo Uematsu, the composer for most Square/Square Enix games, but yeah - the guy's a genius and Porcupine Tree are one of my favorite bands ever.

I'm currently working on a CD of my own, too. I have three songs ready for it, all of which are on my blog, if you want to check them out. They're Solitary Mind, Hollow and The Eyes of Autumn. It's gonna be an ambient/symphonic disc.

Also, SC2 commentary as a way to advertise your music is a pretty good idea. I'm not nearly a good enough player for that, but I've been thinking of doing some film or video game reviews on the side as a way to advertise.

Thanks, man! I haven't updated in a long time - bit of composer's block, I guess. I'm working on a few songs right now, but they're taking more time than I'd like, mostly because they're full songs with recorded instruments and vocals and those take a long time to get right.

I was thinking about making a facebook page for my music... maybe I really should make one.
