    I've seen that we have a lot of smart and creative people here on the forums, so i'm asking the comunity to help me to come up with some stuff, for a project i'm making.
    Basicly i'm asking if anybody here has any good abilities for an fictional starcraft 2 unit.
    I need some abilitis for an tier 3 Electronic warfare robotic(drone) air caster.
    So if anybody has any good ideas for posibble abilities for the caster unit, that could work in sc2 fell free to post it, i would apreciate anything, even crazy ones. So if you have any ideas for cast abilities that would be cool, feel free to post them.

    Neither, but lets say terran if it helps (of al the race it would fit the terran the most) :P
    When i said that i need some abilities for a fictional unit, neither the unit or the race that the unit belongs to exist :P


    I'm just wondering if any user here has thought of any good abilities for starcraft2, that he thought of by himself, regardless for which race, and is willing to share his idea for the ability

    I'm still confused.

    You need some abilities for an tier 3 Electronic warfare robotic(drone) air caster, with no regards to its race?

    Okay i will put it this way, lets imagine for a second that the Terrans have a tier 3 Electronic warfare robotic(drone) air caster, instead of the raven, okay. So i'm wondering if anybody has any ideas for potential abilities for thi unit?
    i'm just wondering if anybody has any cool ideas for posible abilities that could work in sc2, and is willing to share them

    Support Caster

    Jamming Signal: Disrupts enemy detection in an AoE for a few seconds.

    Supply Drop: Drops a supply kit on target allied unit that restores X allied unit's health and doubles their attack rate for Y seconds (like Stim Pack)

    Uranium Tag: Fires a tracking beacon at an enemy target that gives the player vision of the enemy unit until the Uranium decays (basically, a Terran Parasite)

    Offensive Caster

    Bombing Run: Drone drops aoe bombs underneath it for X seconds, can still move to cover ground or hover to target specific enemies or buildngs.

    Cover Fire: Channeling; creates a wall of machine gun fire that cannot be passed by enemy units and damages them if they come too close (like an advanced Force Field)

    Evasive Maneuvers: Negates all damage to the drone for X seconds.

    Thanks DemolitionSquid, those were some nice abilities, i exspecialy like the Jamming Signal.
    Does anybody else have any good ideas for posibble abilities that he would like to share

    ECM Emitter (passive, aura)
    — creates a large zone that jams all detector vision

    IFF Jammer (one-shot, target)
    — attaches a limited-life beacon that confuses enemy IFF systems, making the unit appear as a friendly target

    Targeting Laser (channeling, target)
    — target unit receives +50% damage from all attacks

    But there is still one thing i'm wondering, does anybody have a good name for an atg unit, like the banshe, or just a new name for the banshee?

    Haven't posted in a while, but since this looks like fun, here are some (more or less out there) suggestions.

    Atmospheric Disruption: Forces all flying units in a certain radius around the caster to fall to the ground for the duration of 30 seconds, causing them 50 damage from the fall as well as making them vulnerable to ground units and AtG attacks.

    Reversal of Polarities: Envelops the caster in an energy shield that reflects all attacks and abilities directed at it back at the attacker. Does not offer protection from AoE abilities such as Psionic Storm, Dark Swarm or Disease. Prevents a Nuke from harming the caster (tho' the Nuke still deals damage to units around). Could either be timed, or work like Mana Shield in WarCraft 3, effectively converting energy to HP (with the added benefit of reflected attacks).

    EMP Charge: AoE. Electrically charges the attacks of affected friendly units making damage caused by them to deprive the enemy unit of an equal amount of energy (equal to the damage done).

    System Takeover: Allows the caster to hack into a building's computer system, making the building temporarily belong to the player (for a duration of a minute or so) and making the player the owner of any units produced in the buildings during that time span. For lore (and believability) reasons this ability won't work on any Zerg buildings as well as any buildings that produce infantry/solely biological units.

    As for alternative names for a Banshee like AtG unit: Wyvern, Drake, Fury, Hornet, Falcon, Osprey, Harpy, Kite, Flittermouse... (Okay, maybe not "flittermouse" , I myself am most in favour of "Osprey" or "Wyvern" )
