    Yes, just played the first game after the patch, and I was playing HOTS custom as guest(offline mode), and it was spiking pretty badly... I hope that they can fix it.

    The lag is likely due to their servers not being updated, which is (as far as I can tell) why things are regressing or not showing appropriate changes.

    The pathing has regressed to BW Dragoon and Goliath standards, as well. A lot of maps will have retard workers and autistic ground units. Some air units are even fucking up - a feat that I didn't know was possible.

    There are no art tools. They've done a great job at not releasing those.

    The editor is worse.

    Too little, too late to save a dying game.

    I haven't had any problems with the new patch. No pathing problems that anyone has mentioned. The games take longer to load but they did post that as part of the patch so that there is less "skipping" from continued loading in game.


    The new minimap is taking some getting used to. Creep is a much lighter shade and not a big bold purple blob on the minimap anymore. As for the menu system it is going to take some getting used to. I keep hitting the arcade button to go back to the matchmaking. Slowly I'm getting used to hitting f2.

    I don't think I've ever seen more than one million players on Battle.net at a time. Having said that, if SC II sold 9 million copies (does anyone have sales figures?), 10% being online at a time isn't bad at all.

    Is the player counter server specific? So when you see 1 million is it only counting NA and not Asia or Europe?

    I was moreso referring to the custom creation aspect. Its longevity is definitely in question. I don't foresee a long lasting game like SC:BW.

    While I can't confirm this, I think yes, as I've heard reports of smaller numbers from some other servers.
