... it's 2010, SC2 comes out in April, people wait for SC2 shipping for days. Gaming world is stooned with the awesomness of battle.net 2.0. Story told in SC2 WoL is twisted and you want more. Other game CO's are loosing money in the market while Blizzard actions goes 100% up and...
What do you think? what kind of influence on the gaming industry SC 2 will have? how rough it will be? and how awesome/bad the game will be?

I'm sure it's eSports angle will be emulated, which can be good for the industry as a whole. Battle.net will be more unique than most as it takes too much of a personal vision to pull off correctly and it will be perceived as "different" than xbox live and Steam due to it's hardcore integration into the game. I think Singleplayer will be the source of great industry emulation as well. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see that every RTS potentially emulate the "singleplayer is different than multiplayer" experience due to this model working out for a much more enjoyable experience.

I also suspect the LAN debaticle dropps within 3 months and is forgotten, much like play without MBS is.

I also suspect patches over the first 2-4 years until it's finally found out to be "balanced".
