I figured there's little threads here and there, and a few people wanted pictures or knowledge of the rig I'm running. *shrugs* Why not share...

    My gaming computer:
    • Motherboard: Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P Socket AM3 AMD® 790X/SB750 Chipset ATX
    • Processor: AMD Black Edition Phenom II X4 955 Quad-Core 3.2 GHz Socket AM3
    • Memory: 8GB PC3-10600 1333 MHz DDR3 Memory (4x2048MB)
    • Video Card: Radeon HD 4870 X2 2 GB GDDR5 PCI-Express
    • Sound Card: Integrated 8-Channel High-Definition
    • Hard Drive: 1000GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 SATA 32MB Cache
    • DVD-Drive: NEC AD-7220A Black 22X Double Layer IDE DVD±RW
    • Power Supply: Antec TruePower Quattro 850W ATX EPS12V
    • Software: Microsoft® Windows® Vista Home Premium 64-bit
    • Monitors: Westinghouse L2610NW-SP Black 25.5" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Notes: My setup is rather simple, I have one monitor in front of me, and the other one is mounted above it on the wall, so it's a dual vertical setup. This works because my wife's computer has 2 more of the same monitor vertically setup. (4 monitors total) Both keyboards are G15 (old version and new version) and we both have G5 mice. I've been happy enough with them not to upgrade to Razor.. until I heard about them coming out with a SC2 line.. I may splurge.

I use that primarily for gaming or graphics. I use another system that I can switch to at any time for web browsing or chatting. It's a little Dual Core with a 9600 Nvidia card, nothing big. But I'd rather have it get exposed to virii instead of my main.

    So, what's your systems?

    Mobo P5N-D Asus
    GPU 4870 1GB
    Memory 4GB DDR 2 800MHz

    Gateway 24"FullHD
    Razer Krait mouse
    Keybord Logitech y-sx49
Cooler Master CM 690, with 7 fans
    My next month system:
    Asus Crosshair III 790GX Motherboard
    AMD 965BE 3.4GHz stock
    1333MHz 8GB DDR3 Corsair
I was thinking about changing the mobo also since those PHenoms are freaking cheap I will be the new one.
Also I am aiming for the new HD 5870 card, since it's going to be 2x times better than the 4870 or even more powerful

Mass Effect Universe Fan, I support Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for Game of the year award! ME2 still is being the best rated game this year! Keep it up

I don't really prioritize my rig in normal "gaming" terms - ie. I don't care if it's overclocked, watercooled, DDR100, special brands and so on.
    So I'll keep it basic.

    • Processor....: Core2Duo 3.0 GHz (E6850)
    • Memory.......: 4 GB (800 MHz)
    • Video Card...: 9800 GTX+ (512MB)
    • Case.........: Raidmax Samurai XE 901

    I am however looking to upgrade CPU and RAM due to the 2D and 3D softwares I have, which are;
    • Cinema 4D R11
    • Vue Esprit 6.0
    • Adobe CS3 Web Premium package

Ooh, another Vue user! Lovely program, isn't it? I have 6 as well, waiting until 8 to upgrade to that lovely spectral atmosphere engine.

    Anyhoo...

    • Processor: Ph2 X4 940 BE @ 3.15ghz
    • Memory:2gigs Kingston HyperX DDR2-800
    • Video Card:Radeon X1900XTX
    • Sound Card:Bose Companion 5 built-in drivers
    • Hard Drive:2 WDs
    • DVD-Drive:Optiarc DVD-RW
    • Power Supply:Corsair something or other, honestly can't remember
    • Software:WinXP Pro
    • Monitors:22" ViewSonic Optiquest
Notes: An unfortunate incident involving a water cup and a top-mounted case fan spelled doom for my old build, and since money was tight I had to go with components I wouldn't normally have. My next build I'm saving up for, so it'll be full-on...but right now I'm using a Legacy GFX Card *sob* and a motherboard that can't overclock worth beans. Oh well.

I probably wont be upgrading, as I've found a similar program that is a dedicated plugin to my main 3D application.

I'll most likely still be buying Ozone 4.0 though, for the sake of that spectral atmosphere.
