Default IGN interview with Andrew Chambers for SCII

    http://pc.ign.com/articles/102/1022715p1.html

Small interview on the process of how the story was/is/will be made. Only real news is "the ending of WOL will not be a giant cliff-hanger".

They used the "No cliff-hanger" argument back when they announced the trilogy.

    I liked the read, though.

You do not even begin to know how happy I have just become. Thank you sandwich bird, I thank you.

Will this be for the other two campaigns as well? It looks like Blizzard is putting an entire movie's worth of videos into it. This will be awesome.

This 45 minutes though is not CGI only but honestly their ingame cinematics are awesome too.

You don't have to necessarily worry about what's a victory for the Terran. What's a win for him? And equally, as we move forward into the other races, it will be like what's a win for them?

To answer your question about whether it's all happening at the same time – it's intended to be sequential, so our expansion will pick up from the very end of the first game, Wings of Liberty, and suffice to say, at the end of Wings of Liberty it should be a very satisfying conclusion, but there's a lot of doors still open – 'but what about?', 'isn't that going to mean?!', 'did you think about?', and so on. [And then] in the Zerg campaign we've already got natural conflicts set up, so hopefully it will be a satisfactory conclusion, but also [opens up] a lot more opportunities to continue the story forward from there.
To resume: Every campaign has a "you win" ending, but now there are additional elements beyond the 3 races. In SC1, the destruction of the Overmind was the big ending. Now, it's surely going to be about the Xel'Naga cycle.
The amount of sub-plots and different factions in play are likely to develop a really rich story.

The Hyperion obliterating Zerglings was indeed awesome.
