As for conversion...well, how shall we go about it? Shall we initiate Gradius into the ranks of the Zakarum? Introduce him to the 1,001 gods of the Shaptev faith? Does he like the gods of the Amazons? Or perhaps he is more inclined to Trag'Oul and the priests of Rathma?

So, having watched the cinematics...um, this is something I'll hold off discussing if at all until release, but...well, can't help but be reminded of Mass Effect 3-specifically the ending. Specifically the...okay, it's not that bad, and I don't see there being the same kind of Internet uprising, and the idea behind it has merit. And hey, may be missing some stuff from the game proper, but still...ugh.

Hopefully I'm indeed missing out on some context, and I enjoyed everything up to the last few minutes. After that...ugh.

It's certainly an option, but even in the context of the game itself and excluding everything else, I'd probably play through the singleplayer first. Also, keep in mind that Diablo is a lot like Warcraft to me-like the lore, not so much a fan of the gameplay.

Should probably also specify in regards to my last post that, while I'm wary of giving spoilers, most people probably don't have much to worry about. Something I wouldn't mind analyzing, but appologies if I put anyone off playing it to the end.

Really? The lore in D1/D2 was close to nonexistent aside from outside novels and manuals. Hopefully, D3 will deliver more as promised.

I found the lore in Diablo 1/2 very compelling and after playing the D3 beta and reading about the outside materials, I'm sensing grave Starcraft 2'itis in this one :/
