Here is a painting of Mengsk's headquarters on Korhal hanging on the wall of the Bucephalus in a cinematic before "Gates of Hell" in WoL:

Nothing earth-shattering here, I know, but as far as I know no one caught on this before. And it's always nice to see that more thought went into it all than may be apparent at first glance.

Obviously anything can change, and we know that that ending was legit when it was leaked, but great find dude!

I can't figure out which is worse: the leaked pre-viz actually being genuine or the actual goings-on it shows in light of the pre-viz actually being genuine. Either way, all this does is give strength to the notion that the dodgy story-telling was envisioned as a whole from the get-go and that it's going to stay that way.

To be honest, I think that's the worst part...

Well, there has to be something good to be said for SC II campaign and story. Small details can always be appreciated even if the whole is far from stellar. Although I've been replaying the WoL campaign these days and found myself even more underwhelmed than the first time, even keeping in mind the things I vehemently disliked and trying to look beyond them to get at some sort of kernel of interest or excitement in there. They do seem intent on slowly choking and burying the lore, unfortunately.

That image has been around for some time already, it was in those pre-release videos that went over the original Starcraft's story.

But yeah, that image is one of the things that makes the cinematic seem more legit. For a fan to notice that image, and incorporate it into a cinematic that quickly, would be pretty impressive.

The one thing that struck me, though I still don't believe that leaked ending was real, was that the trailer here had a scene of Mengsk looking over Korhal with his reflection in the window. Didn't the leaked clip have a scene like that too?

Moreover, Kerrigan is really gunning for Mengsk, and the trailer has what looks like a major battle on Korhal.

You can see Mengsk looking out the same building in the trailer as the one in the pre-vis. THAT is what clinches it for me.
