    From what I understand you must press a key for each unit you make, so if you have 2 facs and want 2 tanks you need to press T twice. Unlike war3

    Yeah, thats correct!

    Another thing I hope is different, is when hotkeying all the buildings to one key and tabbing through, you dont get to individually set the rally point for each tabbed building group. I hope they have changed this... does anyone know if they have or not?

    That was my impression as well. Good to know, I guess the final question would be if I have multiple groups of buildings in one ctrl-Group, do I tab between each building/unit or each type of building/unit. Should make a large difference in terms of experience.

    It would be nice to be able to rally all of them at once, thats prbly how it works since when you tab you go to the next building grouping...so rerallying all of you buildings would be very annoying if it wasn't like that.

    Rallying I would assume work like war3, with some improvements id assume...maybe rally waypoints?

    Meh, yeah it will probably be better to add the main buildings to their own hotkey. I was just fooling around with wc3's hotkey options and I should have separated the military units from the worker units. My peons were being sent to the rally point where i wanted my military units to be.

    I agree, it actually should be this way, and i should have just kept the two types separated :P

    I think rally waypoints are suppose to be there, dunno if they are tho..

    Each type of building will be highlighted, I believe. At least if they go with how they did wc3.

    Thats strange you military units are produced from different buildings usually so that shouldn't of been a issue in War3.

    For instance as Orc I group my altar and my fortress under the same hotkey.
    I press 4 once and my altar is selected and I can freely set the rally of all units from the altar without changing the rally of the peons. To change the rally of the peons I would merly press tab then change that rally-point.

    That said its going to be necessary to put your command center/nexus under a different hotkey anyway..I would suggest something like...

    5 - Command centers//upgrade buildings - Usually you don't need to change the rally of a expand command center and you never need to rally upgrade buildings, so this makes sense...you only need to use TAB when its upgrade time.

    6 - Rax + factories + star ports - All your troop production can be done from the same hokey, some may want to separate them but not me. Having ALL your buildings on one hotkey would be annoying since you'd have to tab passed your command center to get to your rax.


    Looks like we are on the same page, I wonder though about zerg "troop" and "drone" rallys...id assume the worker rally isnt changed when you right click
