I think they removed the 4 talons to don't have problems with the fly animations and the ones of the mouth/vag*na that spawn banelings... Could be usefull for the Robear's sizes...

The nest scourge is called a Larval Scourge in the description of the scourge nest.
Also I disagree with the Larval scourge looking a lot like a flying locust. Photo Proof.
Cut scene Editor 07 is a Flying Locust, 08 is a Fungal Swarm(http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Swarm_Infestation) and 10 is a larval scourge. While similar they are all unique.

I think I understand the hellion-hellbat transformation now. The unit page on the hellbat says that the vehical in Hots is different from the one in wings of liberty, The model has more than just a painjob including additional armor and a different cockpit, weapon and front suspension. The transformation model shows the shields fold up on the underside of the jeep when not in hellbat mode.
The weapon slides back as the front wheel suspension and plating turns to legs and the torso rotates 90degrees while the cockpit stays in the same rotation with a gyroscope method, it does not slant like in your drawing, Part of the glass is tucked under the flamethrower; Then the back wheels use the armor on the side of the chasis as limbs and pull the shields out from under the vehicle (the smaller part of the shield is stored in the larger part), The back of the hellbat is the bottom of the buggy and the wheel wells are the shoulders, while the fuel line from the tanks to the weapon is semi-exposed you can see how the config improves health. The process than reverses on the way back.
Sorry about the bolding, pointing out a flaw.
Eventually you should redraw a hellbat capable hellion next to the original hellion, and do the hellbat.

The hellion is exactly the same of WoL, only the flamethrower is different, the only thing it should have is the hellbat-foots that magically appears during morph

Third picture, shields on the bottom.
And the hellbat bnet unit page says the buggy design has been modified off the base platform.
I was not trying to quote the model but how I interpreted the transformation.
By the way, while reading project blackstone I came across one of the scientists mentioning they were getting transferred to one of the newer Kurzweil-class Science vessels. Given the dominion is using them in Hots campaign if you decide to do the sc2 science vessel we now have a name, Explorer-Class for SC1 and Kurzweil-class for SC2. Probably could make it smaller as the campaign research point purchase description says they are more compact. 200-250 Meter diameter Probably?

So, I decided to scale the Cinematic Starcraft 2 Battlecruiser.
On the side of the neck, in the cylinders, there are these circular hatches. I'll assume these are what launches Drop-Pods given what happens in the Heart of the Swarm second cinematic.
The hatches have to be, at least, as wide as the drop pods in question.

Which gives you the length of the Battle-Cruiser as:
Actually slightly consistent with the scalings from Brood War and Starcraft 1!

You might be on to something there! I completely buy your argument that the side of the neck is where the drop pods are coming from, wow.
I wish we could nail down the size of the drop pod slightly better... just because obviously when you're using it to extrapolate the length of something so much longer, even little errors get multiplied a lot... Here's a clearer picture of the model used for that cutscene if it helps you refine your estimates at all?
The one thing that still keeps me from wanting to make it over 1km long, much as I wish it matched SC1, is that all those rows of double windows are really huge... I guess if they're all meant to be like this it'd match up, but that seems unlikely.
I'll start trying to make 3D models of this stuff soonish.

Thanks!
The high figure sticks, but there's a lower figure just in-case.
The shield's highest point is taller than the Marine in the pic, and depending upon how high the Marine is, the armor definitively adds a foot to that. So, I think 2.3 meters is reasonable.
2 meters is reasonable as well, and the BC comes out to 974 meters long going that route.
Well, we rarely ever even see a room inside of the BC with windows. So, unless we get more window rooms, I don't know what to tell you.The one thing that still keeps me from wanting to make it over 1km long, much as I wish it matched SC1, is that all those rows of double windows are really huge... I guess if they're all meant to be like this it'd match up, but that seems unlikely.

Overlooking the model in the editor, there are "windows" that are anywhere from 2 pixels high to 3 pixels, to 4 pixels, and to 6 pixels, so there's a lot of variety there.

I thought it should be worth noting, it appears someone has taken your work and used it to amend a scaling chart comparing all sort of science fiction space vessels. He does credit you (not by name, but sharing a link to a 2012 image you made)

This is all very very interesting, and I'm really itching to make a model of that design soon, and trying to see if I can fit the bridge, the hangar bay, and now these drop pods into it. That'll take a long time though, so nothing right away. I should probably work on more of the drawings in the short term.
Oh yeah, thanks for bringing that to my attention. I actually messaged him through his deviantart a year ago to tell him it was ok to use the drawings, and also to get him to add in the Heart of the Swarm ones, so it's ok. Though I'm afraid he didn't listen exactly to what I said back then, and probably isn't a Starcraft player. I sent him my updated Behemoth drawing but he left in the one from the 2012 chart, the protoss carriers are facing the wrong way, he calls the science vessel a "science ship," etc.I thought it should be worth noting, it appears someone has taken your work and used it to amend a scaling chart comparing all sort of science fiction space vessals.
