Still haven't had time to finish more drawings, sorry guys. Been really busy with life.
I've been thinking about my 3D models. Because I spend much more time, using many more references on my 3D models, they're more accurate than the drawings. Obviously I'm not going to make a 3D model of every single unit, but for the ones that I'm making anyway...
Here is the chart with the wraith drawing:
Here it is with the wraith 3D model:
I could edit the drawing to match the proportions of the 3D model, but I also could just leave the model in there, right? It is better than my drawings, but if it stands out too much that wouldn't be good. I still want the overall chart to look cohesive. I think the wraith is okay, but...
I'm also working on an overlord model, based on SC2 concept art (the main arms aren't finished, of course):
Now my old drawing looks fat and mediocre.
But I'm pretty sure that no matter how I textured the 3D overlord, I couldn't make it blend in with the sketches, especially since it's going to be so higher res since it's so big. I'm planning to make a Valkyrie model as well, and I have the same concern.
What should I do? Stick to 100% drawings? Probably.
