    So was ... half of Blizzard's cast until that certain plot device walked into some character's life.

    That means they now can suffer a case of the deads twice as much.

    Stukov's in— I toned down his SC2 outfit a bit to make it match the simplicity of the other UED guys. In SC2 his coat is much more complicated, with these random patches and segments added on, and more rivets and coattails and stuff, and I just feel like the UED are a little more understated than that— though he could have been 'buried' in a fancier dress uniform, I suppose. Saving the decadence for Valerian.

    By the way, what ever happened to Hawki? He just disappeared half a year ago. In fact, a bunch of the old posters on this thread disappeared this year, like pr0nogo and phazonjunkie. Ah well, I know it's normal for people to just stop visiting mostly inactive forums, shoutout to everyone who's been here for years.

    Edit: Zeratul's in too. I probably still put him in too big for his SC2 appearance, but, even so, he's just a little old man— I would love it if in LotV they actually showed him like this, with Selendis and Artanis towering over him, but it's not going to happen, they'll all just be smaller. Only Raszagal and Artanis left, and the (humanoid) cast of Brood War is complete!

    Also, just because it's fun to compare, here he is with the DT I drew 2 years ago.

    Though the drawing is messier, I still like the old one's armor design a lot.

    If Zeratul is old... Why Duran called it "young warrior" on the BW bonus mission?

    IIRC, the point was to demonstrate that Duran was old, not that Zeratul was young. There's several lines in SC that demonstrate Zeratul is old.

    Yeah, Economist is right on the money on this— it says right in the original Starcraft manual that Zeratul is 634 years old (and that his occupation is "assassin/adventurer," lol).
    Tassadar, who seems pretty well-respected and important, is only 356.
    So we're just supposed to conclude from Duran's line that he's really thousands of years old.

    The scale of that Dragoon is bothering me. Unless Fenix was curled up into the fetal position, there's no way he'd fit into that things core if he was the same height as the other Protoss shown.

    Sizing things up carefully in The Ambush will reveal the size of the Dragoon pod to around two meters in diameter. :\

    The logical conclusion is that only a portion of the protoss resides in the dragoon, perhaps just the head, or the head arms and torso.
    Aaand sold.

    Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
    The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow

    Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
    Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?
