Hey, thanks for making an account and commenting, DefilerRulez! I had forgotten about that short story, it's nice that they weren't completely forgotten about after Brood War. You're right, it isn't much to go on, but, as you said, better than nothing— now I know they are supposed to have eyes.

@Visions of Khas, hmm, I guess I'll try to make... something... about them vaguely manta ray like. Haven't read Shadow of the Xel'Naga, the source for that, in many many years.


Here's the shape I ended up going with. I'll scan and color tonight.

but in all seriousness im pretty sure the beta listed the battlecruiser as a Hercules class, if you want to deferenciate some more one version has torpedo tubes at the front, could add those?

Heh, I'll add more ships in the Legacy of the Void version, but, for now, no more terran ships.

So, I really want to finish this weekend. I need to color the Leviathan. (And the colonist shuttle, but that's nothing compared to it.)

How does this size look? It's around 10km long.

Hah, oh, they all fit on one poster, it just comes out to be another 10mb image. Like the ground units! Thanks, man.

Here's a low-quality preview of the layout (ignore the uncolored Leviathan, and the chunk missing from its top). The Colonist shuttle is in there too this time.



(obviously that 1 pixel = 1 meter is only true for the fullsize version. I should probably clarify that in the image, in case anyone rehosts a scaled-down version.)

I definitely agree, but it is supposed to fit over the Nexus, and then we know that the Nexus is tiny compared to the capital ships, so, I'm not sure there's much I can do. I could make it a bit bigger, and just take it out of the Ground Units Chart entirely, which wouldn't be any great loss, since it's one of the crappier drawings. For now I think I'll just leave it, though...

So, here is the "finished" thing, at full size! It's 7mb, very reasonable, I think.

I put "finished" in quotes because I want you all to tell me if I messed anything up (forgot to color part of the Leviathan, misspelled a name, whatever) before I put it up on Deviantart or reddit or whatever tomorrow, heh.

I've read somewhere that the SC2 Behemoth is supposed to be even more bigger of the Leviathan, sadly it appeared as a file on the HotS BETA and nothing more... I am afraid we will never see it again, simply removed by Blizzard...

The Zerg Larva should be shorter, on this story is long "about the half of the size a man" so it should be long a meter or so. http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/game/lor...in-the-blood/2

Also ultralisk have different sizes, but this was yet confirmed on this thread, on the short story "The Great One" he is "If you've never seen an ultralisk... it's bigger than a goddamn tank, and louder, and faster. Tall as four marines in full armor, and long enough that in the jungle you can be fighting the front end before you can even see the back of it coming out of the bush. It's got two pairs of scythes attached where wings might be on a dragon. They're called kaiser blades; I don't know why, but I've seen what they can do. They sweep through marine battle armor like it's tinfoil. You can unload a C-14 at an ultralisk until the barrel melts, and you'll only make it mad. Correction: madder. They're already mad. Ultralisks get out of bed mad and hungry. When they're done slashing you to bits, they stomp on the pieces of you before you're all the way dead."
