    Those slightly larger, bluish windows there are probably full, floor-to-ceiling, around 3 meters tall, right? I guess if you include the base of the turret, too, not just the gun barrels, then maybe they're ten times as long... Okay.

    Here's a screenshot of the mutalisk that tumbles along the surface, right when it's in line with those windows.


    I'm not actually disputing anything here, just thinking...

    So, my Mutalisk is much smaller, which I'm fine with— let me edit in my marine and muta for scale.

    EDIT: So, my muta is about half the size of the one that appears here.



    Hmm... On the one hand, I think my size matches Starcraft Ghost very well, which I like better. On the other hand, should I adjust it more in favor of SC2? On the other hand, the SC2 Mutalisk would be bigger than the guardian shown in the SC1 cinematics, and would be much much bigger than the old ultralisks, which would be a bit odd.

    I hate being an engineer... When I see those windows, I'm like "Dude, who made windows in deepspace ships AND made them square!".

    I believe your current mutalisk size is accurate. Some strains might be larger, but that "splashed" mutalisk on the hull is spread out while yours is coiled.

    This is a screenshot I took from the editor.

    Right to left, Viking, Nova, Mengsk, Marine, Zergling, Hydralisk, Dropship, Mutalisk.

    These are the "SM" (Scale Model) files found in the game files. Do this.

    If anything, the Medivac slightly too small, and and you nailed the size of everything else.

    The 30 meter turret thing is from this:





    I didn't do them, Bishop Gantry did at SBs a few years ago.

    Assuming the window is 2 meters, you get around 27 meters for the turret.

    Okay, three off from 30, but still huge compared to a marine.

    Damn you guys are good. TopSecret, were there any other units to scale in the editor, such as Zeratul or other vehicles?

    I know for sure Zeratul is there, everything in the campaign armory is there, Hanson (infested and otherwise) is there. I can't think of anything really cool there, though, like a Thor. I do know that the Ultralisk will be there in HotS, from the cinematics we've seen in the trailers

    I'm wondering how Zeratul compares to Raynor. Protoss height by the game box is three meters and I'm wondering if they went with that number.

    As for Ultralisks. I can't wait for that.

    I'm not sure he did it right, then. :P He apparently only had blurry alpha screenshots to work from, and assumed the bridge was at the front of the ship, next to the turrets. But if you look at this video of the alpha, back when you could look out of the windows at the rest of the ship, you can figure out the bridge is actually these circled windows— he was using the wrong ones.



    Additionally, if you look at the picture of the inside he used (also from the alpha), Tychus is standing around 3 meters closer to the camera than the windows are, though it was hard to tell back then. Tychus would probably have been smaller if he'd actually been standing back where the window actually is, but Bishop Gantry couldn't tell that from his blurry screen.

    I think he was assuming the windows were the same size.
