Think that I will post some screenshots of the mod, is still private but within a month it will be playable.

    LA Mod - SCR1.jpg
    - Terran attacking a protoss base with mainly infantry, and some support vehicles.
    LA Mod - SCR2.jpg
    - even infantry-scale armies are important, also shows the futility of attacking a nexus without vehicles
    LA Mod - SCR3.jpg
-Protoss with purifier colossi and wrathwalkers attacking a zerg, the Dark archon has Feedback, Maelstrom, Confuse and Mind control.
    LA Mod - SCR4.jpg
    - Shows a Thor, Diamondback, Hercules tank, Cyclone and banshee alongside infantry. Also debris from a destroyed Nomad is visable (nomads are mech support units with minefields, defensive matrix, target lock and nano-repair)
    LA Mod - SCR6.jpg
    - Terran mech fighting ultralisks, AI uses them poorly and they died quickly without effective upgrades.

I posted SC:RS mod screenshots some months ago but no one cared... Even if the author had in mind a campaign and updates...What about reviving this project ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgHPqI5z2fg
If there is Nolanstar behind a project i am looking forward updates and passioanted care about the project
Do someone has some Hypothesis on the height of the Hybrid Reaver? I still think that he is at least 3.5 meters or 4

I set the reaver to around 6m in my mod, due to the LotV korhal loading screen where it is more then 3x taller then the marines in front of it.

Woah, that link is a goldmine, Defiler! Will watch through the videos later, but right off the bat— Remember back on page 114 when Shadow Archon was trying to figure out what was going on with the angles/proportions of the Leviathan in the intro cinematic?

The front half and back half have different proportions between each other for the different models. Nothing fits with the biggest bone protrusion on the screen, and there's no way to show the area where the Sacs should be while having the head that small. There's just really no way to emulate the shot with the Editor model given that discrepancy.
Well, he was right, hah, the proportions are totally different.

Wonder why they changed to this for the game?

(I also gave mine an idle animation today, which is fun. Though when I recorded this video they're all accidentally moving in sync, I've since made them idle at slightly different speeds, which looks better. It's fun to see the artwork with a little motion.)

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME
    In the second part...

Yong Hyun Kim has a slide from the part of his presentation about the previs process for the HotS intro. And the slide includes a labelled scale chart of the units in the HotS intro.

And this video was uploaded in 2013! None of us noticed!
No one from Blizzard mentioned those sizes to me when I was running everything by them for the book... If they had told me the Hyperion was 1055m I would have done it. I ended up going with 980m, but I think 1055 is right about what Shadow Archon guessed. VoK went with 956.
Having the Leviathan be only 2400 is pretty strange in the light of this loading screen, so I'm still happy with my larger size for it. But man, what a different chart that would have been. :/

It's really pixelated, but the lower right also shows the other units compared. I would have loved to have that information in 2013.

Well, they're the ones who approved my version of the chart, including a 12km Leviathan, while this one was just for internal use, and we know that the cinematics and game are not always consistent. And some margin for error is knowingly built into my chart, being hand-drawn and unlabeled. That is interesting.

Oh god, 2.4 km Leviathan ? Tiny ass Leviathan! Maybe, maybe, it's a different type of Leviathan... Like a low orbit armored Leviathan, designed to go on low atmosphere and land drop pods from close distance and able to take a lot of heavy hits without problems... Or maybe is Blizzard that keeps doing random sizes Glad that link helped you and destroyed a lot of your scales
Based on that pictures, there are other units that needs a scale update? Is that Nydus Worm bigger then yours?
Little off topic: Would a SC2 Marine on full suit and ammo, with drops like on the game, survive on the Dead Space 1 scenario? I am not perfectly sure, maybe is 50/50 chances of die or survive, that armor doesn't break itself so easily, escluded that stupi glass helmet...
Here's the Nova model from "Nova Covert Ops", i like this more of the Heroes model (based on the sc2 hots model lol), it has better texture materials, u can see the metal on the breast armor, the proportions, the pose and the whole model are a lot more realistic, even if Heroes Nova is far more Sexy

Something else interesting they showed in the video were a variety of concepts for the high-detail Leviathan, and he mentions they chose this one:

...But on the previous slide showing rejected concepts, the one in the middle actually looks exactly like the in-engine cinematic model. So I guess they changed their minds!

The cinematic version is interesting... It has much more of a termite queen vibe going on, whereas the game version's proportions are more like a normal insect. The cinematic version kind of gives a better feeling of 'containing a brood to spew out,' now that I think about it.

As for the sizes of the other units... You know, I checked them, and, they really are pretty much the same relative to each other. The Nydus is the same, the ultra compared with the mutalisk is fine (my ultra looks taller, but it's because my head frill is angled up compared to theirs). The only one that's maybe different are the banshee and viking, but since they're shown from the front it's hard to tell. Also in my ultra's defense, I drew it before the HotS trailer was released, so it's impressive it's as close as it is. Its feet are too small though.

And they should be the same, because, I/we all did spend a good year looking at the HotS intro and trying to scale my drawings to match it. Guessing 980m instead of 1055m is still 93% accuracy! I'm perfectly fine if all of the sizes are 93% accurate, especially since every time I make a 3D model I find out that the proportions of the drawings weren't flawless to begin with.

Part 3 doesn't have anything so mind-blowing, but it does have great Ultralisk refs.

Edit: As a proxy for Korhal, here's my Leviathan over Manhattan (the green rectangle in the middle down there is Central Park):

And here's a 2.4 km Leviathan (Central Park is ~4km long):

    Can I give my opinion?
Is possible the Kerrigan's Leviathan is bigger then the others Levithans? Consider the Kerrigan's Levithan is the ONLY one with Izsha, that is like a some type of "second" brain for the Levithan, this mean THAT Leviathan is more important then the others, make sense so it is bigger then the others, like a some type of "admiral ship".

P.S. that one we see in the cinematic intro of HotS is not the Hyperion (Behemoth-class), but a Minotaur-class Battlecruiser or a Gorgon-class Battlecruiser (the Minotaur is smaller then Behemoth, and the Gorgon is bigger then Behemoth)
