    Yeah, that Mothership model is real, real nice. And I love that there are sections with windows/decks. Definitely sad I didn't have time to do a new mothership before the book came out.

    I actually have a couple of mostly done hybrid sketches— not dead. Anyone want to take the time to figure out from that cinematic with Kerrigan fighting them how tall the Reaver is supposed to be?

    Another 'new' source of unit images— another Blizzard artist set up an artstation account, featuring the high poly sculpts used for various unit portrait models. But the highlight imo is a sculpt of Mr. Jack's Heart of the Swarm Devourer design:






    The mothership concept art (which I believe was included as a poster with the "Veteran Edition" of the Field Manual) is also up, if I ever want to redo my drawing. It is so, so good:

    Robear, I made some maps with all units (SC1, SC2, SCG, scrapped and others, I hope I added all) in real size using your draw
    I don't added heroic units like Brutalisk or Leviathan.

    Ah! I didn't know this XD but I doubt a game with real size can be possible, Science Vessel, BC, Void Ray, Destroyer, Carrier, Tempest, Skylord and Mothership are TOO HUGE O___o
    but if you want see my maps for your mod, you can do it without problem

    Consider that Kerrigan on hills should be 2 meters. And The Hybrid is Two Times bigger... I would suppose at least 4 or 5 meters tall or even more... And he even has a badass skullface

    So, on 3 minutes on "deep" reasoning i figured out this... I would say he is between 3.5 m and 4 m tall

    Largest ship in the mod is the MSC, Raven and Arbiter. Capital ships would be impossible to balance, as a marine is based at 100HP, 1 armor. Civilians have 25 with no armour and a "vulnerability tag" (exists on unarmoured civvies/critters to represent things not designed for battle that makes them take extra damage based on chance or lose 90%hp to a single hit with a 1% chance. Melee units actually parry each others attacks, which is cool. (not ultalisk Kaiser blades though)

    It's kind of too bad that the ships are all flying so close to the camera that they're too big to see. It definitely feels like a mission with just the smaller units would actually work though. Could be interesting.


    On the 3D front: for fun I made a super low poly model of the Leviathan and applied the drawing to it as a planar map. So, from any angle but the side the drawing gets super stretched, and looks like a game from around 1999, but it's still fun to get to fly around the ~12 km unit.





    The camera is still really janky and basically untouched, have to work on that next, and the wraith model is actually being controlled by the SCV's controls script, which is why it can hover in any direction. Still lots of programming to do.
    Also you can see that my SC1 BC model is bigger than the Hyperion is meant to be, in that model image above the grid blocks are each 1 km, and the Hyperion is just under 1.
