Eyes and mouth? We can see without doubt the Cerebrates don't have eyes and mouths in any OFFICIAL source and officially the portraits show the head is the biggest part, maybe in the past is the smallest but in SC1 and BW is the biggest

My problem with the offical source is that the portrait just shows a vibrating lump. That lump is a fraction of the cerebrate. It could be any part of the cerebrate, due to the angles of the portrait camera. It's like the Overmind's eye(s). According to lore it's a zerg formation known as a Sentry. They are huge eyes, which were in control of the Overmind and could emit powerful psionic energies. One of this eyes scared the living shit out of Sarah Kerrigan. I don't think they exist in the QoB Swarm. We don't know how many of these eyes are located around or within the overmind structure. For the SC2 art, the Overmind's portrait was redesigned but it still resembles an eye. We know there are at least two eyes. One giant eye on the outer shell and the smaller tendril eye.



This is what I mean. Skin consistency is the same for all the cerebrate body. So, all of these shots could render the SC:BW cerebrate portrait.

For me is difficult to think the smaller part how the head, the Cerebrate must have a big brain, so the biggest part is the best place for have a big brain. If the portait was in the smallest part I think we can see a biggest segment, but in the portrait we can see only one segment, for this I think is the biggest part. I mean if you know a alien creature with great intelligence and great mind power, what do you think? the creature have a little head or a big head? I obviusly think the creature have a big head. This is my thought, but then you decide

I would assume that its brain/nervous system would go along the entire length of its body really, since being a brain is basically all they do all day.

At any rate, it's in the chart, it's this big, it's good enough to be done.
