Apparently the Friends & Family of the Diablo III Beta has begun and some stuff has been leaked already.

F&F beta hasn't begun...spoken directly from a Blizz rep. That video is leaked footage from an ex-blizz employee. It's certainly legit. Beta is expected at the end of Sept.

Maybe they'll be able to have a 2011 xmas release. This beta shouldn't be too long.
