    The change will have next to no effect on actual gameplay, the only exception is when a Protoss player tightly traps his units inside Force Fields.
    Well, that was my whole point. Baneling bombs were one of the ways to punish Protoss players that were doing that, and those that are playing more defensively overall.

    Eh? Starports build in half the time it takes to build a spire or a hatchery. Not that it matters too, too much. As you can produce like 7 corruptors or mutalisks instantly once it's built.

    Ah, but that is a different thing imo. A spire can "produce faster" then a starport.

    Hm, but I kind of forgot what we were arguing about vikings or corrupter being better vs colossus? I kind of forgot xD

    Well. I was making the point that Corruptors are kinda crap while Vikings are pretty decent units. I forget what point I was really trying to make with Spire vs. Starport. I think it's mainly that the Spire's a larger investment for less than the Starport is.

    Corruptors are the worst unit zerg has really imo. Frequently other races try to force zerg to overmake corruptors due to their low utility in situations other than air-to-air. Pretty good in air-to-air but that's it. As Blizzard noted either it needs scrapping or complete reworking. Maybe just completely remove it and buff the hydra to be the main anti-air of zerg.

    To me overall it's the worst unit overall in SC2. I pity the zerg race because its air-to-air unit is the corruptor.

    its true. in most games zergs need to commit quite seriously to their spire to makeit worthwhile...

    i rememebr the oldendays where i got a reactive/preemptive spire to get corrupters out to deal with colossi, but it was so easy to make too many or twoo few corrupters and end up dead in the water.. I needed a good macro-advantage to lend me enough leeway on this for games to get close and i found that harder and harder to do as protosses used mroe and more economic builds while taking reonable messures to delay my 3rd.
    I am an enthusiast of good strategy games, sc2Esports and rollplay, although i dont really play anything atm.
    I work an internship at a government agency this fall, and have a good time at it.
    I'm being more social, active and honest lately. in all forums.

    Ok. Zergs are probably still sad about the range reduction. It does help with dealing with infestors since zergs tend to get a ton of them but still think fungal/infested terran is the bigger problem PvZ.
