    You guys remember this artwork where we thought Kerrigan was battling Zealots:

    The artwork is called "Kerrigan battles Protoss High Templar". That's why their faces look like HTs. The final humiliation. Three of the Protoss' most trained class of psychics couldn't defeat one human (or find where she went assuming she cloaked).

    ive been saying this ever since they started magically teleporting away when they took some damage.

    all those years of believing that they charged into battle knowing full well that if they fall they may be ripped to shreds and never experience the khala again. only the baddest of the bad asses could become dragoons because they still made it off the battlefield...



    been saying all along and i was being told of overreacting now our # 1 toss fanboy feels teh same.

    So they can't get ripped to shreds or have their nerve cords cut off in battle anymore because their suit teleports? What?

    And how did they do that? Did they run away after having their legs amputated?

    I guess it's inconceivable that being teleported right into a medical facility would give them a better chance of turning into a dragoon. Crawling back to base with missing arms & legs was a much better system for a race as advanced as the Protoss, amirite?

    A year later & your argument is just as retarded now as it was back then, so yeah, quit overreacting about teleportation.

    Protoss suck in SC2 because the writers hate them. The Tal'Darim are weaklings who can't stop a band of pirates and only utter empty threats. In HoTS it appears to be even worse.

    While they're listed as high templar on the site, I'd still venture that they're zealots. The Overmind image is listed as a hive for instance.

    As for the whole protoss being weak in WoL and HotS...storywise, isn't that the point? Not so much individually, but as a civilization. They're perfectly capable of curbstomping their foe when the opportunity arises (e.g. destroying Project Gestalt) but in the long run, they're probably the weakest of the "big three" right now.

    Maybe they can kill some kalathi or tagal to feel better.

    they can but they are guranteed to get transported to a hospital where they can die in peace. before that we imagined they accepted the fact that they may not return at all. nobody will see them again. every battle they go to they may never return from again. PURE BADDASERY

    countless opportunities for epic missions in which wounded protoss were rescued by testerone filled alien spartans screaming ishazu!!!. shuttles being flown back to base / warp gates to take them away etc etc. it really drives home the no one left behind attitude protoss really fit. also drives home the point of one being immortal. he didnt get magically teleported there he defied death.

    right because waiting to be hacked to pieces in hopeless battles they could never make a difference in was much better than teleporting away before said damage could be done.

    yah the writers hate them so much they made them teleport only when they are on brink of death when they should be able to teleport away whenever the executors want them too. my point exactly. protoss suck.

    Actually, according to dramatic logic, if you want to see the Protoss kick ass, it is better for them to outnumbered or weak, which make them the underdogs.

    Well, you could always write out your opinion on how teleportation technology behaves. Is there a reason they don't want to wire the suits to anything but medical facilities?

    Another Flanderization: The protoss technology wasn't invented by them. They use technology directly based on the Xel'Naga artifacts.
