They did the same thing to WoW. The trial was replaced by the Starter Edition. They had it for a new patch. It could have also been for WoW, or HotS.

Reading Duckyyy's comment, it makes me sad that something like this is considered a great thing. Remember way back when, when the demo for a game was practically obligatory?

Yeah, a five-mission snorefest that I could've put together in 30 minutes (minus voice acting) when I was a StarEdit noob. Great stuff. Seriously though, they couldn't have gotten off that easy now. A demo would need to have missions on par in quality to the game (or else give an inaccurate representation of the quality) and would need to be more than one mission. This is a much better demo to show off the game.

Well, WOL had the free tickets that came with the box. I gave it away. Never heard of them since -- the people who sounded like my closest friends when I had those tickets, that is.
