This was just the chance I was looking for! Thanks Blizzard! Now I can get my friends to try the game and see that it is great and (hopefully) make them buy it

Now that's what I call a full-featured demo.
Probs to Blizzard. A bit late though methinks.

Of course it is, but they could've done it sooner and helped out the original game too.
I'm sure the department that handles this has their reasons though.

Reading Duckyyy's comment, it makes me sad that something like this is considered a great thing. Remember way back when, when the demo for a game was practically obligatory?
I remember StarCraft I's demo fondly. They actually created a unique campaign for it.

For the last fucking time, Activision does not own Blizzard.
Yeah, a five-mission snorefest that I could've put together in 30 minutes (minus voice acting) when I was a StarEdit noob. Great stuff. Seriously though, they couldn't have gotten off that easy now. A demo would need to have missions on par in quality to the game (or else give an inaccurate representation of the quality) and would need to be more than one mission. This is a much better demo to show off the game.I remember StarCraft I's demo fondly. They actually created a unique campaign for it.

Well, WOL had the free tickets that came with the box. I gave it away. Never heard of them since -- the people who sounded like my closest friends when I had those tickets, that is.
