    Default Will the QOB return?

Personally im kinda hoping that Kerrigan is reinvested and turns back into the Queen of Blades so we can play as her in the single player for a few missions similar to SC and BW. Do you guys think there is much chance of this happening or is Kerrigan going to remain human?

She will remain human, albeit with chitinous dreadlocks. Shes a good guy now.

Its bullshit and stupid and retconned all to fuck, but there's nothing we can do about it except not buy the game.

She definitely isn't a "good guy" now.. The whole story to HOTS is Kerrigan regaining control over the swarm. I think a reinfestation is very possible, once she regains control, I think she'd start working on reinfesting herself. Who wants to be a lousy human when you can be Queen Bitch of the universe?

Kerrigan is regaining control over the swarm... to help Raynor and Zeratul destroy the Dark Voice. Shes no longer "insane" or "mind controlled." Shes trying to help save the galaxy, and once its over shes not going to turn on her allies because even Blizzard wouldn't pull that card again.

Cheer for Kerrigan now. She is most assuredly a good guy.

As much as I dislike how they handled Kerrigan's deinfestation, simply reinfesting her again (but now in a new and improved way without the homicidal tendencies! ) will pretty much undermine what has happened in WoL.

Face it, Kerrigan's deinfestation was the only thing of merit (both in terms of story progression and "wow"/interest factor) in WoL. Reinfesting Kerrigan has the distinct possibility of devaluing the importance of WoL in the trilogy such that it will only prove to those who dislike the story that WoL really is superfluous and to those who like the story, a smack in the face.
Yes, that's right! That is indeed ME on the right.

As has been stated, reinfesting her would probably make WoL seem kind of... useless. Even if she does manage to save the universe (or help do so) before she's fully reinfested, it'll feel like a defeat for the good guys (Raynor and the gang).

I would mind if she developed a few more mutations... minor changes and the like, but not a full reinfestation.
I've fought for the Terran revolution, I've seen the promise of the Protoss, and now I'm ready to join the might of the Swarm...

Chris Metzen is writing the single player -- not Kerrigan, and you've seen what Metzen did to SC2 WoL

    Your point being?

I don't think we should assume anything about Kerrigan.

The only thing I know about HotS at the moment is that I'm really not going to like it very much.

Considering that the act of 'infestation' typically turns one into a 'bad' thing/person/whatever in the SC universe, isn't it safe to say that re-infesting Kerrigan would also make her 'bad' again? If so, the greatest thing that was ever achieved in story development throughout WoL has been removed, thereby making WoL utterly pointless!

Say what you like about whether Kerrigan was made evil or not by her initial infestation, the artifact appears to have made Kerrigan either 'good' again and/or deinfested. You may or may not like that particular development but that single event was the only thing that showed the greatest potential for storytelling in and beyond WoL.

By nullifying it by re-infesting her or 'revealing' that the artifact's effects are only temporary will essentially make all Raynor's efforts truly null and void leaving the whole experience of WoL meaningless in the grand scheme of SC2's story. WoL has already been criticised for not really having any story progression; removing the significance of Kerrigan's deinfestation (if she truly is reinfested again) would only cement and justify that opinion.

The only way they could justify it was if they were somehow able to 'infest' Kerrigan without her being 'bad/evil'. The artifact has already sounded the BS alarm for most people, re-infesting Kerrigan again but this time without making her evil would be just another howler I would think.

Unbelievability of this scenario aside, why would she need to be reinfested again? To get her powers back so she could fight the DV? Then why did they want to kill her at the end of WoL? If they didn't want to kill Kerrigan, why did they want to de-power/de-infest her? Oh, that's right! They did that to make her 'good' again. Don't want to go messing around infesting her again with the possibility of making her evil again, right? Unless, of course, they can do it without her making her evil again but also give her even more awesome powers than before to fight the DV.

Sure, that last point may justify making WoL redundant, but will that even be a remotely believable or satisfying reason? I'd doubt it. It just sounds like BS on top of more BS. As you can see, there's only so much BS you can shovel before the stink starts to get to you.
