Heh, let's not forget that Kerrigan is supposedly now going to be able to do what she really wants to do. Even though if she doesn't free the zerg from the hybrids then the universe dies. So much her having a real choice.
Also she is apparently pissed off (according to Metzen at least) at being turned into the Overmind's slave so she will....do what the Overmind wanted her to do anyway. Which is what she was already doing. Which she seemed perfectly fine with doing already.
Apparently she doesn't want to turn into Mengsk, even though she committed far worse atrocities then he could ever commit. Now that she is free from the zerg corruption she....will continue to commit these horrific atrocities except do it less (I guess?) and she will feel more guilty about than before.
Oh and the only way this artifact business makes any sense would be if the Overmind planned it in order to give Kerrigan free will. So it infested her so she would have free will when it committed suicide. Except she wouldn't have free will so she will have to be deinfested by the artifact, which the Overmind somehow knows exists and somehow know it deinfests her somehow (but not her hair, for some reason) so Kerrigan can be reinfested in a way which somehow makes her not evil since the Overmind couldn't infest in a way that gives her free will for some reason.
