Disappearing Points

Has anyone noticed over the last 24 hours that points for your games have not been crediting consistently? I personally haven't been creditied since 8:30 PM EST last night, and an opponent, Weber, didn't get credit for a 5 game winstreak. Weber and I spoke about this. I have found no solution.

This is what I've done so far:

1) ran the repair tool

2) rebooted computer

3) researched whether Blizz is prepping season 3. Outside of the maps announcement, no data. (I will update this after I read the podcast, which is the only thing I hhaven't read.)

4) researched other players and found that others in my division have games whose points are uncredited, winor loss. Yet some did get credit for games played this afternoon, so I played 3 games before posting this, winning 2, and no points for me. Additional research reveals other players' having the same issue.

I have an educated guess as to what might be the problem: Could blizz be prepping season 3 and this is a side effect of that preparation?

Your thoughts, all?

1) Okay, there is no write-up for the podcast just yet, so if anyone has any info from that which may be helpful, please share.

2) My computer is up to date, though it is definitely below recommended settings, so if this could be a factor, please say so.

No, Blizzard is not prepping season 3. They will ALWAYS give us a warning when a season is going to end AND when the ladder is going to be locked. Since there has been no Blizzard notice or warning, there is not going to be a season change until the actually announce it. The thing you (and alot of people) are experiencing is just a bug. This recent wave started last night and also happened a few days ago. Your hidden MMR will continue to go up or down but your points will not. Blizzard does know that some people are having this problem, and earlier today even did something that fixed it. (I saw people laddering and gaining and losing points about 6 hours ago)All in all, its not your sc2 that is messed up it is just the ladder system. I would suggest to ladder all you want since none of the losses will affect you for the time being. Or, do not ladder at all. It is all up to you.

Not that I noticed, but I'll take your word for it. I logged on 2 days ago without issue, and am about to log on for a few rounds tonight. Anyway, I thank you both for confirming that it wasn't just me. My comp is kind of crappy to begin with, so I wanted to be certain. Thanks again.

I knew what he meant. They've put notes there several times. I'll not deny i may have missed this one.
