American cops don't pussy foot around like other countries . . . or else we'd all be dead.

But, again, you miss the point. Can you seriously post with a straight face that Europe and Canada don't riot over sports more often than Americans do? Europe has athletes over their ripping their bulls off and walking down the streets until they bleed out because they lost. A riot is pretty much expected after a heated soccer game. Americans have thirty different sports that we play, we could give two shits about any particular sport because the fan base is so spread out. Hell, we don't even get that upset over NFL or NBA finals.

The top seven worst riots of all time. All are European/Canadian except for one which was in 1924 between the Yankees and Tigers. But, that riot was in defense of Babe Ruth's 'honor', it wasn't over losing a game. What's worse, is that THE WORST RIOT OF ALL TIME, was in Montreal. And, from the article, it was quite a bit worse than second place.
