But, seriously, lenses/sensors are a part of a camera which is an electronic, therefore, included in my previous statement.

There was a time when cameras weren't digital, there was also a time when lenses didn't have autofokus. It wasn't that long ago actually.

But maybe you mean only from 2000 and onward. Because that would be the only possible explanation to make my argument invalid.
