I'm ok with the nydus worm now, if only it has a relocation ability though xD

How was it that not part of the discussion? Thats practically the focus of any discussion we have on here! The worm sounds pretty decent in its current incarnation. Yes it was altered, but so has just about every single unit in the game. It certainly feels more balanced now. It takes some skill to use it effectively.I wasn't concerned with which is more balanced, as that's not part of the discussion.
While being able to 'salvage' the worm after payload delivery sounds nice, I think the way it is now means you need to be strategic. You dont get a second chance with the same worm, so you need to plan well.

While it might be nice to relocate a worm, I don't see it as being deal-breaking. It's only 100 minerals, after all. That's 4 Zerglings.

Hey Count, I just spent 2 minutes finding the original post you quoted to try and figure out who said that. Might have helped if you quoted the full point which shows all the information. But I digress
I personally agree with mentality to speculate balance concerns but will say personally that balance is something that comes from testing and not paperwork. Ultimately though, any discussion on balance we have now won't mean anything as it doesn't affect their internal testing they are doing while trying to get the game to beta. We can speculate how the balance of the worm is now, but if they change the worm next week from their own findings, the balance conversation is merely a use of time.. you can quote me on this next line.
"Debating things that are fluid as if they are stone will merely bring us to the realization that our theories are as stable as pure air." - Gifted
Comparing the versatility of two different interations of the same unit can provide more stable basis and more open-ended conversations. I don't mean to disrespect you at all, but I feel that bringing every conversation to "balance" will only limit the scope of potential conversations.
I'd compare it to SC2GDF 2 weeks after the LAN debaticle.. people could relate the subject "My kitten is cute in the front yard" to "Lan removal is evil!" and somehow managed to do so... often. Just two cents here on your conversation![]()
