Blame the WiP lighting and facial shader/shading texture...

Kudos to Arkceangel for the Terran avatar and sig!

I'm Alexander (with Zeratul portrait, though a few others use the same portrait, I've yet to see someone use the same portrait and username). Those are all part of my opinion on Kerrigan's look.
If there's one thing I've noticed ever since the reveal it's that people are going "Oh no! She looks black! It's the end of the world!" (an exaggeration, of course) and, sometimes, using the n-word. Then again, that second part could just be because tons of people are openly racist on YouTube.

I remember all the things I read about facial symmetry. And yet, if I glance at someone for a moment, I can spot things like how one eye is bigger than another, their nose is naturally slanted to the side, how eyebrows aren't exactly on the same level, etc. This happens even when looking at pictures of people who are considered especially good looking. It's creepy. :S

Her zerg-dreads don't scream kerrigan for you?

And Sarov, have you gone by another forum name? Maybe back on blizzforums? I remember that sig picture but I can't quite recall a name with it.

Well her non-infested head doesn't have Zerg dreads, right? If you put Kerrigan's red-haired model next to the Queen of Blades one, you can see there's many more differences than just the hair. Her jaw line, nose, brow line and skin tone are all different, she doesn't look like the same person at all.

The portait looks great. It's just all very confusing because of the lack of consistency. The portrait looks nothing like how she looks inbetween missions which looks nothing like that photo of her that Raynor holds which looks like like her in the "betrayal at gettysburg" cinematic which looks nothing like she did in SCBW

Both the QoB portrait and the de-infested portrait look great, and they look like they could be the same person. But, yeah, like pretty much everyone else said already, there's zero consistency. She was black(or at least mulatto) in SC, then she became white as a snowflake during WoL, which I assume should retcon her looks in SC, but then they went and got her old black/mulatto look for HotS.

Frankly, I think this look is great for her. If anything, I'd like to see the white-as-snow look retconned. But that can't happen, since it's had way too much exposure. I guess they just took the chance the deinfestation gave them and made it change her skin color to what it used to be.

Not sure where you're getting that...

P.S.: Yeah, I guess she sorta has dreads in her old portrait but I think you're confusing between Rastafarians and Trustafarians.
