btw: im with wankey in this one, i dont want that a love story drive the plot in Heart of the Swarm.

A part of me gets a bit pissed off at the fact that they are continuously persuing this romance aspect boy/girl love storyline.

This isn't starcraft, this is mass effect dumbed down. Then again the writer is from Mass Effect so who am I to judge?

Heart of the Swarm probably means heart of Kerrigan - a love story.

I dunno why they call it heart of the swarm, the entire sequel is Kerrigan, a love story and the Zel Naga. Nothing else really matters. Wings of Liberty should've been called "First Love" as Kerrigan finds her love again, Heart of the Swarm is when Raynor breaks into Kerrigans heart and Third one will be when Kerrigan achieves a great career because of Raynor's love.

Not a single zerg for heart of the swarm teaser oh well.

Dude, the Frozen Throne beta started in February and WC3 released in June of the year before...Frozen Throne then came out in early July. That was 13 months later...

What I meant for Frozen Throne was 4-6 months from its announcement. Development of it was a year, but compared to SC2 right now, we're already 8+ months in, so another 4-6 is what I'd expect.

As for people saying no expansion this year? That was Activision Blizzard statement by Kotick. He handles the console side of things, Blizzard ultimately isn't affected by that and they could very well release it this year if the game is done and ready. Same goes with Diablo 3, if it's done and ready by this year.
