    I like the idea of Thor occupying all slots of the Dropship, but they could sneak in an upgrade to the Dropship that would allow it to carry a Thor in the first place. Something like "Heavy Cargo Hauling". My 2 cents.
    I don’t feel the situation justifies an upgrade to be honest.

    I personally think its not good for the game to have a unit that can't be a role-player in multiplayer. Depending on the map, Thors are severely limited to staying on one island after being built, which makes building Thors less likely on island maps.

    However, Thors are the biggest Anti-Air defense that the terrans have, and this will cause a shift in balance toward the other races in late game (In my opinion).

    I think we should simply allow Thors to transform in some way, compacting its self or dropping parts of its body, allowing it to be taken in a medivac dropship. It's far too big to be taken as is by a drop ship!
    It should be able to be transported.

    I think the balance should be in the maps themselves. No reason to fundamentally change something that's only important on island maps. Just make the maps themselves take this into consideration.

    Maps must not make the transport of the Thor possible (through doodads)

    That's not at all what I'm talking about. I'm talking about making the terrain laid out so a Thor can rest beside your mineral line or around the edges of the island to attack incoming drops and air units.

    A Thor is supposed to be a very powerful anti-air unit. I don't see why you would need to drop one in an enemy base when an air unit would be just as good against air units as the Thor and Tanks would be just as good against ground units.

    in that case it would be quite relative and depends on the map, because when a map is created balance doen´t only depends on drops of the terrans. or a single unit

    Make the Thor be able to wade even thro' the deepest water*, but then add a penalty of it getting rusty and moving and attacking (with the added inconvenience of fish getting stuck inside the cannons) much more slowly once it emerges on the other bank (complete with added "creaky noise and water sputtering out of all joints and openings" audio-visual effects).

    *The Thor's position could be marked with a periscope, WarCraft 2 Gnomish Submarine style.

    I know. I'm just saying that the fundamentals of the game shouldn't be changed for one unit; just like you're saying map balance shouldn't be based around one unit.

    Also, I like Eligor's idea. Granted, I'm not sure about penalties but maybe they should have it be able to move through certain depths of water like it was on ground but at slower speed.

    This is ridiculous. Do you people even know what the K.I.S.S. principle is?

    Thor transported by MedEvac is the ONLY logical solution. Its simple. Its fixable though model size changes. Its PERFECT.
