Thread: Roach+Baneling+Infestor vs. Protoss Deathball

    Default Roach+Baneling+Infestor vs. Protoss Deathball

Here is another option on how Zergs can survive Protoss Deathballs. This requires a slightly more expensive army and decent micro for Banelings carpet drops.

A game which showcases an up and coming ZvP build as well as the importance of using a threatening force threat in gaining a positional advantage.
Hey guys I want you all to know that my team is playing/did great this weekend so I am going to go ahead and make it my status because I know you all care and want to know my opinion on it.

mights tart experimenting with this, god knows i need help vs P.. but it feels quite chancy to relly on the baedrop on army landing well, and im not sure i move fast enough to make it work consistently

Could try using fungals to force the banelings to land well. If it fails it'll be quite bad for zerg though.

yeah, ofcourse, optimallyid fungal. but thats alot of micro and things to time correctly, and can end very badly if the wrong OL's get focused and/or shit blinks out of the way effectively... this is why the roach foundation is on the ground though, rather than lings.. but oraches arnt all cheap and thats alot of tech to line up...

This is what Sheth was using two times vs. Artosis in NASL and won both games. It looked kinda of easy, since Sheth is better player, but if Protoss doesn't have Void Rays, he can't do much.
