really not liking this patch, particularily the protoss nerfs are really felt vs terran. that extra 20 seconds totally makes the 3gate pressure build obsolete, you can't get there in time before the 3+ bunkers go up. So now, terran is free to fast expand with no repercussion.
The fact that ghosts are as cheap as sentries now isnt really fun, considering EMP has a huge ass radius and absolutely dominates protoss so hard. I know ghosts cost will be revoked next patch

Hahahaha, nerf on toss versus terran? That is the funniest thing ever. Sure, you got your warpgate 20 secs later but it's not as if you can't build units before you have them. And terran had a frikkin 30 second increase on their biopush timing due to the stimpack nerf.
Then there is the fact that you can now feedback Thors, which is what, half their HP on full energy?
And last but not least you got your Archons just waltzing through terran bio. With that added range and no slow, roll em in there and annihilate. It's like a superultralisk, one that can take down banshees too. Getting out-kited? Forcefield!
Seriously, I've had it with protoss players complaining about their nerfs. Protoss is a breeze to learn compared to terran and zerg. I started off with terran and it was so easy to switch to toss, you can warp in your stuff anywhere and attacking with your big ball of death just involves clicking attack move at the right time and place. No need to set up siege tank lines or put your hellion in the right position (which are made of cardboard anyway, another thing protoss doesn't have to worry about). And don't get me started on zerg, you basically need to be an autistic savant to play it properly. I've been playing around 20 games with them now and finally KIND of getting the hang of it. But one wrong unit choice and you're done for, it's a very unforgiving race.
Don't get me wrong, protoss is not OP at all. Nor UP. It's just that I'm getting sick and tired of people pretending it is. Protoss isn't the most-played race for nothing, half the people I play are toss. And I'm superhappy about this patch because maybe it will do something about that boring-ass four-gate EVERY SINGLE PROTOSS goes for. You know what's wrong with protoss? They are a bore and a snore to play against. So instead of complaining about patches, why don't you invent some new strats to make the game fun for the rest of us. Thanks sincerely!

LOL. Well.......cannon rush, void rays, phoenixes, carriers, immortals, high templar, dark templar, colossi, mothership, mass upgraded gateway units. So which strat is "fun" to play against???
I've tried all of them except cannons and motherships. The usual response is "$#%$#@$% toss imba", "noob" or some other rage quit. Funniest I had was "worst 4gate i've ever seen" as i was killing zerg. Certainly sounds like a lot of raging against protoss. Plus the patch doesn't "fix" 4-gate against zerg.
Don't know why you want protoss to "invent some new strats". How many strats do you think protoss has??

It's both true that a lot of Protoss players focus on 4gate but it's also true that there are a lot of alternatives. It's also true that Terran are in the same situation.

Honestly how many people complain that Protoss is UP (besides Hitler)? It's the exact opposite if anything. And you realize the irony here that almost every terran on the planet wins by rolling his face on the keyboard and spamming bio?
But seriously, these imbalance complaints are annoying. If Protoss is so easy, why doesn't everybody switch to Protoss? Sure most players are Protoss, but in diamond/master the races are roughly equal. Finally got back on the ladder today and half the people I played were bad-mannered dbags trying to save their self-confidence by blaming their race. It really spoils the game. :/
Sorry but this is a joke. Zerg I can understand. But terran? How?Protoss is a breeze to learn compared to terran and zerg.
Warp-in is easy yes, but queuing units in your barracks is even easier. You don't have to go back to your base.
Zerg & Protoss macro mechanics are used every 25 energy. Terran is used every 50.
Get supply blocked? Call down supplies.
Too lazy to scout? Scanner sweep.
Lose your entire worker line? Come back easily by calling down MULEs from the command centers whose energy you let build up.
Need to defend an expo? You've got a planetary fortress which nothing short of a full army can stop. Protoss & Zerg have to make brittle static defenses manually.
And what micro does terran ever have to do? You've got no key units that need to be saved and manually controlled during a battle (like colossi). And all Terran units are ranged, so the only positioning they ever worry about in PvT is just standing in a giant ball and maybe evading psi storms if the toss ever gets to it.
Ghosts are also nuts. Terrans complain about psi storm, but an EMP can take out like 500 shields in one click.
Hellions. Cheap units that devastate the entire worker line which you can get from your factory that you only got for the tech.
Anyway, enough ranting from me, I'm sure Terran is as hard to play as the other races, but there's no proof it's harder to learn, except maybe strategy-wise.

I think EMP can actually take out more shields than that. Depends how clumped up they are but since it removes all shields it can take out colossus shields as well as anything under it.
APM wise Protoss is the easiest. Terran need the most APM (they need to spam T and A all day). Zerg is in the middle. Strategy wise Protoss is easiest (due to the main aim being getting one type of deathball). Zerg has the hardest strategy since their race requires a lot of positioning.
The one thing that hardest about protoss is individual unit control. Due to beefy, expensive, high supply units being the norm of protoss we have to keep each unit alive as long as possible. In that case we never want to trade armies. Also resource wise protoss need/want the most gas. Minimum 6 geysers mined at once for a good deathball. Mobility is also an issue for protoss. We can warp in but if the drop/muta harass is too big for the warped in units to handle then we have to move our army.
Protoss is like a big slow heavyweight fighter. That's why the general feeling of "Protoss is easiest to play". You just build up your strength then charge down the opponent and beat them to a pulp. In a lot of cases Protoss is good at "one hit KOs". Take all the punishment then with one move BOOM!!!. That's also the reason zergs hates protosses. Because the zerg style is like a super speedy fighter that slowly wears you down. It's a nice style to watch and be amazed by the movement, etc. But if they get hit a few times by the Protoss "heavyweight" they die. Terran is the middle.
