    Default SC2 Peripherals

So, I was wondering what others are using for there peripherals; specifically mouse and key board.

I'm using the Razor Lycosa keyboard, as well as a razor mouse. It's pretty nice, but I wanted to see what others are using, because I feel like I may be at a disadvantage. My friend has a mouse with hotkeys 1-9 on the side. That seems like a huge adavantage, but as i've never done it, maybe it's a mess to use.

I noticed the Razor SC2 mouse only has a couple buttons like the one I currently have. I'm guessing if haveing 1-9 on the mouse was optimal, they would have done if for the SC2 "tournament" mouse. That said, I don't use any buttons on my mouse other then left and right click. Seems like I should at least be seting some buttons to it. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.

I saw the most awesome suggestion for protoss warp gate using a standard mouse with left-right click and a scroll wheel. He set like scroll up to select all warpgates and scroll click as a screen hotkey and to assign that specific screen was spacebar. So he would scroll, click the scroll button then warp in units.

Unfortunately i'm used to pressing w for warp gates, clicking where i want them on the minimap with mouse then warping them in.

    $5 mouse and $5 keyboard

Doing quite well. Then again I haven't played in a few weeks because of real life constraints.

Yeah, real life constraints always get in the way of my additction to Starcraft. I read somewhere that it's a good idea to put shift and ctrl on the mouse. That seems like a good idea becasue you could set control groups with the mouse, and it would be easier to ctrl left click a unit to get all the zealots, or marines, or whatever mid battle. Does anyone do that?

Normal QWERTY keyboard, and a trackball mouse that's about 10 years old.

Logitech G500 mouse and a normal comfort curve 2000 MS keyboard.

G500 @ max dpi of 5700 with accel = 0 & speed (in Logitech prog) = 2, while keeping SC2 mouse speed at 50%. helps a lot with micro and unit control =)
