    Mengsk/Valerian and Dr.Hanson .
In the interview Metzen said that, if they are making a character, they have a exact plan to kill him/it (the character) after a number of misssions and he took'd Hanson for a example.

Also I think that Mengsk will die if not him than it will be his son, cause the main thing that starts the engine (plot) running is the gasoline (which is the revenge, avenge, redemption, etc.), so Valerian will avenge his father or Arcturus will avenge his son.

Mass Effect Universe Fan, I support Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for Game of the year award! ME2 still is being the best rated game this year! Keep it up

I can see Valerian being pulled between Mengsk and Raynor, both winding up vying for his leverage and support. The loss of his father may send him over the edge, and throw him into a position he may not entirely be apt to fill. This could lead to civil conflict and chaos among the terran worlds, but from that may arise the potential for Raynor to garner more support and legitimacy in the eyes of mankind. Valerian would also provide an interesting contrast to Artanis, who is also very young but lords over his entire species.

That said... Mengsk, I choose you!
    Aaand sold.

Tychus - We all know him as the guy stuck in his Marine suit because he has debts which have yet to be payed. I have a feeling that he'll only be able to repay these debts with his very life.

Arcturus - Obviously to make room for Valerian. So I voted for him. But I actually want Arcturus to survive, because I like his character & returning voice actor.

Dude, since when is Tychus going to put himself into a situation where he'd have to pay his life as a debt? Anyway, it'd be pointless to pay his life as a debt after people saved his life.

    Amen.

Arcturus has a gigantic plot-bullseye on his forehead. I will be truly surprised if he survives halfway through the campaign.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

Arcturus Mengsk. Kerrigan is attacking Terran worlds again. Then, people will recognize that his promises were empty. Raynor is against him, and is probably going to get a lot of support along the game.

I think that he's going to be weakened, and probably killed by open revolt.

    Would be truly fitting.

Mengsk destroyed the previous leadership, having caused open revolt on planets like Antiga, and now he dies just as the Confederacy did.

Mengsk won't die. The Confederates didn't kill him. The UED didn't kill him, no one will kill him. . . maybe in Heart of the Swarm. I think.

I voted for Tychus, Tosh, Hanson and Arcturus to die.

This is what we know already:
Tychus needs to pay off people who rescued him
Hanson will likely have a romantic relationship with Raynor
Tosh is affiliated with a group of rogue spectres
Valerian has a strained relationship with his father
Zeratul is in need of artifacts Tychus is searching for.

    What will most certainly happen:
Dominion power will be greatly diminished due to Zerg/rebels, degree will vary
    Xel'Naga tie-in

    My predictions/speculation:

Hanson will die because Raynor's love for Kerrigan was already taken away from him once and may happen again to refocus Raynor at the graveness of his situation. In ironic fashion, while Raynor is trying to take out the Dominion, his former love, Hanson will be taken from him tragically somehow by the Zerg and strengthen his resolve to take down Kerrigan. A good person has to die, but i dont think it will be Raynor or Horner. Although there could be room in this game universe for romance, ultimately the changing tides and dangers of the galaxy will take that away.

Everyone wants Arcturus to die and he probubly will because that makes sense. Raynor will ally with dissident factions such as Tosh's spectre group and take down Arcturus. Valerian will survive surely because if he died that an abrupt end to possible plotlines. Besides, Valerian is very different from his father and could be of some use to Raynor. The Dominion will fall and Valerian could team up with Raynor to consolidate the former Dominion's remaining resources in a united front to fight the Zerg.

Tychus may have been sprung out of jail by Tosh's spectres, who in a ploy to fund/advance their sinister plans, had sent Tychus to influence Raynor to help them gather artifacts to be sold to the Moebius Foundation.
Tosh may cut ties with Raynor and betray him by killing his friend Tychus.
---If Zeratul gets Raynor to give him the artifacts Raynor/Tychus have collected, Tychus may be killed because he cannot pay his debts.---

--Really have no sound logic in this next paragraph, but this is my prediction--
Raynor/Horner (Zeratul?) will go on a manhunt to kill Tosh, while leaving Valerian to battle the zerg. Tosh could be heading to various worlds to gather artifacts/hide from Raynor's Raiders. There will most likely be a tie to the Xel'Naga near the end so maybe Tosh could find something that will consolidate the climax. Zerg or Protoss could be involved. Tosh will get killed and then Raynor's Raiders will escape the planet help Zeratul to investigate the Xel'Naga and continue the overarching story present in the Trilogy.
I wouldn't speculate what the wild conclusion of the first game would be...

So basically largely the good Terrans will win and Raynor/Horner will fight another day, with Valerian leading the New Dominion in the trying times of the Zerg invasion(which will continue to play out in the next game)

Lol that rly got my creative juices flowing XD
*This is speculation, some of it is logical thinking(especially the Tychus part) but majority of this has no definate basis*

Zeratul dies eventually, as will Kerrigan.
