Tychus and Arcturus.
Yay, Artanis isn't on the list.
Edit: Scratch that, this seems either a Terran-only or WoL-only list.

You're right. It's a WoL-only list since we don't know enough on who the major characters will be in Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void (other than their respective main character). Otherwise, Artanis would be on the list and likely outnumber Arcturus due to sheer fan dislike.![]()

What about the other, minor NPCs on the Hyperion, like Rory Swann, Graven Hill, and Stedman?![]()

It would be an unstoppable tidal wave of Nerd Rage.
Personally i really i have no idea who's gonna make it and who will be pushing daisies. One thing that Blizzard has proved is that they love to do the unexpected.
But if I had to choose i would say Arcturus, just cause his time has come. Most of his story was told in SC1, he had his run, its time for the new generation to take over.

It would be interesting if Raynor came to the conclusion that humanity needs Arcturus right now. He's the only thing keeping it all together. Squander resources over a small terran colony and leave an industrial world open to attack? Or consolidate forces over the most important strategic worlds and dig in to survive the zerg flood? In the long run, the latter situation, though not altruistic, may be the best bet. This line of thought also makes me think that Raynor will acknowledge the hatred in his heart and realize revenge isn't the best route. That may add even more import to the death of Arcturus, should he die. Which he probably will.
Aaand sold.
Be it through hallowed grounds or lands of sorrow
The Forger's wake is bereft and fallow
Is the residuum worth the cost of destruction and maiming;
Or is the shaping a culling and exercise in taming?
The road's goal is the Origin of Being
But be wary through what thickets it winds.
