Q: Is it possible to dodge something like a Yamato shot but blinking with the stalker? Or will the Yamato shot trail the stalker until it hits it?

A: Yes the Yamato will follow.
    Can you clarify this plz?

If you hold off on blinking until JUST before the yamato reaches your unit, does it still change course and follow?

Because in WC3, you can dodge spells this way with the Warden's blink, however you have to blink just before it reaches you.

If the answer is still no, this REALLY needs to be fixed.

Q: What is the criteria for a victory in a multiplayer game...shall we assume the destruction of all buildings still? Furthermore, will all building be revealed once a player's last main is destroyed?

A: To win a match you need to destroy all the opponents buildings. Once all the Command Centers, Nexuses, etc all the players buildings get revealed in about 30~ seconds.
Do you know if this is just for the Blizzcon build (to prevent people hiding) or if it's always like that?
If it's always like that, then that's ridiculous.

    Thanks for doing this btw.

They were moving as a group, meaning that all units in that group will travel at the speed of slowest unit. It can be turned off and on. Warcraft 3 has the same function.

Pretty sure it will always be like that, to prevent moronic farm hiding...its like that in warcraft 3.

Blinking out yamato should work o.0. Perhaps he blinked out of it, and it still "hit" him but it dealt no damage, that happens in war3 alot as well.

I know, but it also prevents elimination races and removes excitement.

You know what? I'd much rather have to put up with some idiot hiding farms once every 1000 games than lose out on those 1/1000 games where you are both frantically looking for eachothers buildings on the map trying to eliminate the other player first.

My biggest complaint is the time - 30 seconds. I can like with... 5 minutes or something. But 30 seconds is stupid and I'm almost assuming this is a blizzcon only feature.

Well im sure the time is subject to change, and I don't think it really takes the base race out of things. Ive had plenty of that in war3...the only difference is you have to actually win the race instead of getting lucky and hiding a pylon behind terrain or something.

30 seconds dose seem short now that I think about it, but however long it is in warcraft 3 works well, and I don't remember offhand how long that is heh

    EDIT:

The time in war3 is 2 minutes, I thought 30 seconds was a bit short...more than likely this just hasn't been changed yet or you could be right about it being a blizzcon feature...i have no qualms with 2 minutes.

I think that Blinking away should avoid any spell that has not reached it's target. AoE spells can already be avoided, why not missile type spells? If the player has enough reaction speed to do it, it should be encouraged, and Blink has a timeout, so it's not likely to be OP.

Terrans "Mule calldown" is almost counter productive, you have to pay 150 minerals to have your command center stop doing anything for about 60 seconds at least just to upgrade to Orbital Command.
That's lame. I thinked they were not balanced, but not to such extent.

I'm thinking about the macro mechanics, and the scarce gas, and i completely agree that this will be a loooong beta, and it's very likely we are going to see drastic changes.

I suppose the upgrades for zeal remains the same? +2? and the way it attacks? Double hits or 1 big hit?

For what your thinking it's really not that big of a deal, if someone manages to kill all your Nexuses and you can't get at least one building than your basically SoL because your going to fall behind in Econ. Other than that if your army is bigger than theirs it wont matter if they can see your buildings because you can just wipe them out. It's a lot less useful than you think, I played 50+ games and revealing only happened about 5-7 games and it was at the end when people specifically ran and hid buildings around the map, I think its a good feature and it's hard to exploit if you have defense at your resource line, like you should anyways.

Because Eco raids KILL and it can happen in an instant: ie, good micro with the reapers D-8 charges will kill all your probes in 5 seconds w/o you noticing because they 1 shot them.. (aka the first damage that sets off the "your probes are under attack" is also the damage that kills them so you can do JACK). So defending your Eco lines are a huge priority.

Supersonic, thanks for the feedback. Can you tell us whether casting PC felt repetitve or felt like an APM sink?

Was it hard to place the target?

Did you make other obelisks for shield/energy recharge?

Did you ever use your PC obelisk for shield/energy recharge?
