How much time have you played SC2?

Hi there. I'm interested how much you have played SC2.

And do you think you need to brute force yourself to play the game 200+ hours to get your $60 worth if you don't like the game, something for example Spychi does.

Personally if the game sucked, I wouldn't be playing even 1 hour, let alone 200+ hours just to get "value" out of it.

I mean $60 dollars is not to die for, its not little to waste them, but its not going to break you.

And what is the most value you get out of SC2? Is it custom games, ranked 1v1 games, ranked team games, single player, achievements, editor?

Started with custom and team games but now most of the time its 1v1 now that its "balanced"

According to Xfire, I've played 418 hours of Starcraft 2.

This includes the time i spent playing beta.

SC2 the only game I have atm. So I played it in beta and now. Prolly 5-10 games per day.

I'm well over 250 hours I think. I've played 2 to 4 hours a night, 6 days a week since about Sept. 9th when I was finally able to install the game I got the day it released. My initial draw was the continuation of a very good storyline of SC1 and the novels that had expanded it. I liked the story in SC2 though I will admit it did not entirely enthuse me either. What keeps me playing is the MP and a few new friends I've made through it.

Hmmm I guess 20hrs on the campaign replaying missions 2-3times for achievements then a quick run through for "Hurry up it's raid night".
380 1v1 matches @10mins = 63.33hrs
10 2v2 matches @15mins = 2.5hrs

So works out to be 85.83hrs. Should be reasonable i guess. I don't 4 gate that much in 1v1. Guess the option I pick is under 150hrs.

How much time do you spend on a fan-site for a game you supposedly don't like? 200+ hours? Personally, I wouldn't even spend an hour on a fan-site for a game I don't like, let alone 200+ hours just to "troll" it.

I voted over 150 hours (which sounds about right especially if I include the beta), the number would probably be higher if I had a laptop that could play SC2. That could be so much downtime in college I could use for SC2.
