It is very good, saved that the nuclear silo is not on CC and Sarah Kerrigan is the super powerful Nova. But then, everything else are perfect.

Just wanna point out 'The Overmind' was just released a day or so ago.
Omg, StarCraft-style Protoss Shuttles, Arbiters and Carriers. This is too cool. Good work.
perhaps I'm retarded, but I can't get this to work at all, can anybody help out? I put the mod file in the appropriate place, and put the maps in the 'maps' file, but I can't find them ingame, nor quite frankly do I even know if i'm opening the mod file correctly. I tried testing the first terran map (mission 1) and as soon as I passed where raynor was supposed to be (there was a 'raynor spawn here' sort of thing when I was in the editor), but he, of course, is not there when I actually test the map, so I loose almost immediately after I pass that threshold near the 'lings and hydras.
anybody have any ideas?
EDIT: or maybe the mod file isn't in the right place? its in the mod folder, but when I open the maps in the editor it says that the sc1mod.sc2mod cannot be located. fuck me sideways...

You can't open them in game.
What you'll have to do is select the map file, and drag it on to your StarCraft II file.
I seem to be having a problem with any map that has a hero that needs to be preserved. In Wasteland as soon as I pass by where raynor should be, I don't see or get him, but as soon as I engage the nearby Zerg I loose the map because I don't have raynor. Is this a problem with my stupidity in opening this improperly or...?
EDIT: Plus, I keep getting an error about birthsound or something, and often I get an error message about an "AI script Value: 0"

why was this made as a "mod" instead of a custom map available to open within SC2
