StarCraft 2 vs Dawn of War 2

So, who do you think will win? StarCraft 2 or Dawn of War 2? Honestly, I had some doubts about StarCraft 2 winning at start. Dawn of War 2 is a new experience and I though that would make it win, it was just a lot different, it was squad based, and had a cover system. But as soon as I saw the StarCraft 2 Single Player experience, my jaw dropped, fell off its hinges, and got buried under 5 feet of dirt. I am now rooting StarCraft 2 all the way!

DoW2 could never be compared to the SC2. Point is that Relic rushed the game for their fans, and the game wasnt finished yet. Well sort of. I liked very much DoW1. but DoW2 just isnt the same game, there are no Macro at all, no buildings. Company of Heroes engine is good, but for this kind of games sucks in my opinion. Eldars are freaking useless, Tyranids are way to strong, cuz Relic rushed the game, there is no balance in it AT ALL. Ok if they wanted to make new game, but they shouldnt have do it with DoW...
My Firend is playing table top Warhammer, and he liked a game (DoW1) a lot more then SC, well he is just that Kind of player. And I like it too, not more then SC of course, but still, and we couldnt wait for DoW2. And when it Finally get released, we just look at each other and both said "WTF is this shit?"...
Its taking so long for SC2 cuz that is Blizzard, they want to show us some new game, with extremely great strategies and perfect features, all together with new Bnet 2.0 They want to show us Perfect, balanced game that can be played competitively all over the World.
I think that a lot of players that Played DoW2 and are waiting for SC2 will agree with this...

I never played DoW1. So I can't really compare. I was quite disappointed at the fact that there was no macro though. I found the overall combat fun though. StarCraft 2 is definitely gonna win this, IMO. DoW2 had a decent campaign, but it got repetitive. StarCraft 2 is seriously mixing that crap up. I can't wait for it!

DoW1 was just like SC, normal RTS, the only difference was the Squads instead of one unit, and the Moral bar. And that made the game interesting with different strategies involved. And I dont see any of those in DoW2...

If you like SC, play DoW1. It's amazing! I play it constantly , almost a much as in my Starcraft hay day. You can buy DoW with each expansion in a big Relic pack on Steam.


I haven't played DoW2 yet, but I plan on getting it when I get a new computer. It looks good, but come on, this is Starcraft 2 we are talking about, there's no competition!

DoW1 was a great addition to the RTS-genre, and stood well on it's own.

But the successor which removed every interesting aspect that the first had brought about, will always leave it to be something merely for those whom fail to realize what competitive gaming is about, and whom only care for graphical detail.

Comparing SC2 with DoW2 is the equivalent of comparing a rough diamond that is yet to be cut to brilliance with horse-manure. Only buffoons, half-wits and ignorant wh-fans could possibly care for the future outcome of DoW2.

Yeah I agree with this one, but it is pretty much what I have said. And Only players that likes and thinks that DoW2>SC2 are the ones that hates SC universe or WH hardcore fans, they are completely blind...
