    This tread is about removing singleplayer so he is obviously only talking about loading during multiplayer. So he would have to wait for the other player.

    Replays, some b.net custom maps (like build order testers) & the start-up screen are not multiplayer, so no. Also "removing singleplayer" now doesn't mean he won't play the singleplayer for the next 2 expansions.

    I have a cheap 50$ 500GB standard 16MB 7200RPM HD and SC2 takes only about 6-9 seconds to load.

    I'd just use an HD instead of an SSD.
